Description


Fan of sushi? Learn how to make your own with renowned chef Yoshiko Takeuchi, who has 20 years experience teaching, is the author of two Japanese health-food cookbooks and has worked in some of Sydney’s top kitchens.

Using top quality Japanese ingredients, you will follow traditional methods replicable at home, including essential Japanese seasonings, cooking techniques and a variety of yummy recipes.

Some techniques you'll learn:
• Thin roll
• Thick roll
• Inside out roll
• Nigiri

You'll also learn to make tasty fillings like tempura, and treat yourself to a sushi lunch with miso soup and matcha green tea. Life doesn't get much better than this!

Also, all of Yoshiko's classes (except the "Japanese Cooking Class (Advanced)") are suitable for vegans.

Take control of your relationship with food and learn to love healthy recipes! I want all my students to be glowing with confidence, energy, and healthy beauty. Just give it a try!

I've worked with chefs like Tetsuya Wakuda (Tetsuya's restaurant) and was a professional chef for over 10 years, and have been teaching cooking for almost 20 years. My mission is to promote a healthy and enriching lifestyle for all my students. I would love to share my passion and knowledge with you.
