Sarah was a very generous and patient teacher, offering so much enthusiasm and reassurance. I have done a several week silver course many many moons ago - I made one pair of simple earrings and a plain band silver ring over 6 weeks (6 x 3 hour classes). In this one session of Sarah’s I completed two rings, which are gorgeous. So I’m amazed! Sarah supports you to learn very rapidly as you go to create unique personal pieces. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with my friend!

I have always admired Claire’s work at the markets but what sheer joy to spend a morning painting with her. This was a fantastic class to get going with abstract art and see a layered painting evolve. I had the best time - Claire was a great teacher - well organised, encouraging, friendly & warm, offering a basic plan of how to start the painting and then constructive advice and her observations, helping you to find your own journey with your work. It was brilliant to learn some of her techniques and way of practicing her art whilst feeling encouraged to also find your own. I had an excellent and rewarding class. Highly recommended!! My friend Lee and myself had been waiting since September to participate in the Silver jewellery making workshop and the Enamelled Jewellery course. Well what an amazing experience. Our facilitator was so skillful at supporting each individual to work at their own pace with heaps of support and guidance. Sarah Munnings would show the group the details of what she wanted to convey to the participates. Such as using the soldering or metal heating for the enameling then each person was invited to copy her instructions.

Each person came away with several jewellery pieces individually make to reflect each person's personality.

The Hub venue in Bairnsdale was ideal for this type of workshops

We are both looking forward to the next time Sarah is down our way.
