First of all, the space was absolutely adorable. It was such a beautiful place that I felt happy just being there.
MAX was so friendly and made me feel comfortable by calling me by my name. He kindly shared his ideas and helped us along the way. His ideas were truly amazing!
Everyone who participated was also so friendly and easy to talk to, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
It became such a wonderful memory for me during my time in Australia.

Came solo and it was such a welcoming atmosphere. It brought back great memories of my high school art classes as it was a good balance of support, encouragement but also learning new skills. I had such a lovely time at my first Collage Night! I was quite nervous about coming because I have social anxiety, but Max was incredibly kind and created such a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, and I felt comfortable enough to relax and enjoy being creative for over two hours.
My friend ended up joining at the last minute, and we both had an amazing time. I can’t wait for the Halloween event in October! Thank you for such a wonderful evening!

Really enjoyed this workshop. Live the vibe of the place. I went with my husband and we had a great time creating. We also picked up some great tips from Max, our teacher. I loved the technique of making an incision with a hobby knife to insert items into to make them look like they are in something (E.g. a bowl) or coming out of something. Loved how the workshop was laid back but still had some structure. It was well organised and loved the slide show of our scanned artworks at the end. Was a really lovely afternoon sipping on tea, getting crafty and having snacks. I also liked looking around at the different art works on the wall & all the bits and bobs. Thank you to all the staff involved. Highly recommend this workshop and the shop itself is great to visit.

Such a great class with the perfect mix of instruction and freedom to have a go and be creative. Max was a fantastic teacher; really encouraging and made everyone feel welcome from the start. He shared lots of useful tips, tricks and examples along the way.

Thank you so much Max and Zoe - we immensely enjoyed our weekend session on 4/7/2026. It was a quite a different experience as this was our second time and we got so much more out of it as we had a better idea of how to maximise our time.
