I very much enjoyed the class. Both Max and Zoe were very very accomodating and helpful. They showed how we could approach collage making step by step, demonstrated different techniques and provided with a fantastic collection of materials to use for our own creations. I didn’t notice how the 3 hours passed. Everyone got very creative and had amazing final work in the end. Thanks for such great time, Max and Zoe, and for keeping us so well fed, too :)

Had such a wonderful experience at that paper joint. Went for a Mother’s Day activity and it was so much fun getting lost in the collage experience for a few hours. Time just flies by and the creations were all amazing!
Even the snacks provided were so yummy and you can help yourself to warm and cold drinks.

A warm, welcoming and inclusive event hosted by Max & Zoe (and their dog Frank!) which was a perfect Mother’s Day gift and activity for 3 generations. We learned some great composition skills and collage tricks which we can transfer to other mediums, like zines, journaling, and business graphics. I loved the wide range of materials to draw from to create our vision boards, as well as how Zoe & Max provided multiple modalities for people to plan and focus their visions.

My sister and I like to do classes together instead of presents for our birthdays, and we decided to do this class for hers this year. It was amazing - such a great experience that was much more engaging than I expected. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy collaging that much, but it sounded fun so we thought we'd try it, and I'm so glad we did. It was just structured enough to provide guidance, but not so much that you didn't feel like you had room to play around a bit and be creative - I'm not the most creative person out there, so the guidance was great! My sister is super creative though, so she enjoyed having the space to run a bit freer. It was perfect.

Great value for money, incredibly kind and fun instructors, and just a great time all round. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

I attended a cut and paste collage workshop at That paper Joint, mainly to spark my creativity and it certainly delivered!

The atmosphere was exactly what you'd hope for in a creative space. Zoe, Max and Franky were not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly supportive and professional. They really know and love their craft, and it shows.

I left feeling super confident, with much more knowledge about collaging and the overall creative process than I expected. Max and Zoe blew my mind a few times with their insights and really helped me tap into areas of my creativity that had been neglected for too long.

Overall, this workshop had a positive impact on my artistic approach and definitely scratched that creative itch I was looking for. I just wish I had gotten their Spotify playlist, but I'll be back soon anyway.

We went to the class to learn some new skills and spend time together and Max and Zoe were perfect hosts and teachers. The class was structured really well for time, they gave great tips to expand creativity without cramping anyone’s style, and the materials and set up were great. So were the fresh backed cookies! You don’t need any background or knowledge to attend, just go along willing to play and discover something fresh. Recommend to anyone, alone or in a group.

Very supportive, encouraging and have such genuinely beautiful energies.

We did a private workshop for a Hens party (15 people). It was great; we're a group of artsy and non-artsy people and the structure of the workshop meant everyone felt comfortable to have a go. Zoe and Max were great instructors; the session had a clear flow that scaffolded the process, and they did a great job guiding us through it, giving advice and helping out throughout. I loved getting to see everyone's creations at the end. I'd highly recommend!
