Such a fun afternoon, hilarious experience.
Chrissy had the perfect level of instruction, support and enthusiasm.
Venue was suitable, unusual colour scheme, but…the photos and videos have come out brilliant

Everything about this was great. Good vibe, easy to follow instructions & just overall really fun. Not only did we get a lunch & unlimited local brews, we got to takeaway the sausages we made.

Chris is an energetic and engaging host and she makes everyone feel comfortable and builds a general feeling of "fun".
The somewhat "messy" process is explained clearly and slowly and the group is guided through every step.
The lunch at the end is delicious and the craft beer and soft drinks make the whole experience wonderful.

Our family group of 10 adults loved the whole experience. Chrissy was cheerful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The beers were great, both in range and quality and the food was delicious. We came away with the skills, knowledge and intention of making our own sausages. Definitely recommendable.

35 of our team visited The Sausage Factory as part of our end of year staff function. It was a fantastic event with many laughs and was a great way to get better acquainted with our colleagues in a relaxing and fun environment. Chrissy and the team were very helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and expertly guided us through the sausage making process - with much patience! Everyone was very proud of the sausages they produced on the day. We also enjoyed the banquet lunch and were well fed and hydrated and were impressed by their ability to cater for various dietary requirements. Our staff who attended have given great feedback on the event and thoroughly enjoyed the day - even those who were apprehensive about the activity initially have been complimentary. Would highly recommend for any groups as it was a fantastic and inclusive experience for groups of varying ages, physical abilities and backgrounds. Thank you, The Sausage Factory!

What can I say, I don't think there are words for it, but here are some, delicious, exiting, amazing, fun, and absolutely without a doubt a magnificent experience. Chrissy was amazing and both her and Jim are super knowledgeable. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun with a superb lunch provided and the best local beers, absolutely worth every cent and more, thank you for that awesome food coma.

We had a fun filled experience and lunch today, learning to make pork sausages. The small colorful restaurant was full of character and tasty boutique beers of which I tried a few ! The lesson was Well set up and taught , I learnt lots and u get to keep your snags to cook at home .
Lunch was delicious with very flavoursome snags a salad and bread . Plenty of left over snags for a doggie bag
A great interactive fun activity to do with family and friends . It’s is a little expensive and all has to be paid up front.
Definitely recommend it.

This was an awesome day out. Me and my sister took my dad as a Father’s Day present (nearly everyone there had been gifted it for Father’s Day). The teacher was fantastic, engaging, entertaining and informative, and we got to make heaps of sausages, had an amazing meal and as much craft beer as we could drink. Highly recommended

This was the best thing I’ve done in ages. Had a genuinely awesome time. Our hosts were warm, cool, knowledgeable and made sure our day was fun. I am not usually a fan of days like this but I highly, highly recommend this for anyone even remotely interested in sausage making. Such an incredible workshop from start to finish. Chrissy and her partner were the perfect teacher and host covering everything you need to know about the history of sausages, instructing how to make them from scratch with endless laughs (and drinks) and then serving up an amazing feast to top it all off. I bought this class as a gift for my best friend - I wanted to find an experience so random she'd never guess up front. I succeeded! So much fun as well as being super informative. Chrissy is a legend - irreverent, inspirational and a fabulous host. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable, advising on the best spices for our sausages depending on our tastes and preparing an outstanding lunch for us all once they were done. Beer and wine was free-flowing as was the laughter and I've now got 18 delicious looking homemade sausages in my fridge ready to be chomped. Great value all up. I'd recommend this class for anyone who loves a sausage - whether you really want to learn how to make them yourself or whether you just want to find a random but epic way to spend an afternoon.

What a GREAT experience. Chrissie and Jim were amazing, excitable, hilarious and entertaining a.f. (appropriate swearing was encouraged).
The restaurant was so cute and kitschie and easy to find.
Everything we needed was included- not to mention we're off to buy our own "sausage making machine" todayonly the best for us.
The birthday surprise recipient LOVED his day out- it was one of his most favouritist presents ever (said after trying a range of unique brews).
I couldnt recommend this class highly enough for anyone that is interested in bbq'ing, making things from scratch and getting down and dirty with your cooking.

Enjoyed learning how to make a great sausage today, followed by a selection of artisan sausages for lunch with yet again further instruction on accompaniments of mustards, pickles & fruit. The small group allow for a free flow of exchange of questions,answers & lite hearted banter. Not to mention the Sausage Queen's brewed beer selection flowed even freer.if you & a few friends want a great day out book this class.

The transformation of an old inner west butchery to The Sausage Queen (and brewery - is there a more natural pairing?) is a total success.

Chrissy (HRH, Sausage Queen) is an entertaining and engaging instructor. It felt much more like a mate showing you how to do something and, enjoyably, lacked the formality and rigid structure that comes with some other cooking classes I've experienced.

Groups are small enough to ensure everyone gets the attention and instruction required. The process of making the sausages is pretty straight forward and the ingredient pairing of protein with flavourings is as limitless as in any other form of cooking.

An incredible class, topped off with an absolutely amazing lunch - don't eat breakfast!

The lunch included 3 snags per punter, each a different flavour, a selection of salads and delicious, home made pickled condiments. It was absolutely delicious. They stock a great selection of drinks and beers - both their own, and other locally produced brews.

Highly recommend - you will never buy a supermarket snag again.

Nice little course, very hands-on and fun way to spend a weekend afternoon. The teacher gave a lot of good advice and tips on making sausages. And there’s a nice meal of sausages and condiments at the end of it. And there’s free craft beer throughout.
