What you'll do
Join The Plant Whisperer at her luscious indoor jungle studio in sunny Brunswick for this exclusive new offering, and leave with your very own deluxe terrarium feeling relaxed, revived and inspired!
In this mindful making workshop, we'll start off with some gentle somatic movements and conscious breathing. Our expert teacher will then guide you through the creation of your very own deluxe enclosed terrarium, keeping our focus in the present using mindfulness techniques, and allowing you to relax and unwind.
You'll create your own moss-based terrarium complete with humidity-loving plants in these stunning wooden-based, enclosed vessels. Originally known as the Wardian case, this form of plant display has been around since the mid-1800s and is a wonderful way to display your plant babies.
During this hands-on beginner's workshop, you’ll learn all about how these lovely miniature gardens came to be, the art of terrarium creation, the ‘three steps of terrarium building’ and the ‘three golden rules of terrarium success’.
You’ll learn everything you need to know to ensure your miniature world thrives and continues bringing you proud plant parental joy for years to come!
All materials required are provided including refreshments, so you just need to show up! Perfect for a solo date or bring some pals and make a day of it. It's simply a must do in Melbourne.
