Tufting Class for Beginners

Indulge in quality time with friends and loved ones and learn how to create your own tufting masterpiece in Canberra! Design a distinctive rug, coaster, mirror, bag, cushion or even wall art.Head to DKTUTU Studio, the pioneer tufting studio nestled in Forde, Canberra. Our studio is a haven for individuals of all backgrounds, including those new to the art.Begin by bringing an image that you'd like to make and we'll use a projector to transfer your design onto the primary fabric, helping your vision comes to life.Guided by our experienced instructors, you'll have the pleasure of selecting from a palette of over 200 yarn colours, operating the tufting gun and learning the process of adding those final touches that make your handmade rug truly special.At the end of the workshop, you'll be able to take your unique creation home to add a pop of colour to your living space. Please note:Our 50cm tufting workshop is a favourite among our guests. This larger block size opens up a world of creative possibilities, allowing you to work with more space and detail in your tufting project. It typically spans between 3 to 4.5 hours, allowing ample time for your creative journey. The 30cm frame size takes around 2-3 hours.However, please bear in mind that the duration may vary based on your individual tufting speed and the complexity of your chosen design.
