Learn the art of traditional Turkish mosaic making in the heart of Sydney’s Darling Harbour at Mosaic Art Studio!

In this 2.5-hour class, you will learn the techniques of a 500-year ancient craft and practice assembling Islamic geometric patterns as well as historic techniques for laying the tiles (tesserae). Using your selected geometric template, you will be guided to create and take home your very own traditional Turkish mosaic!

All of our workshops and events are complemented with a sumptuous Turkish tea service, delectable treats and homemade Turkish shortbread cookies.

Our beautiful and spacious studio is located in Sydney’s CBD, within a 5-minute walking distance to Circular Quay, and all the wonderful things that Sydney Harbour has to offer. After you have completed your mosaic lamp, reward yourself and catch a ferry across the sparkling harbour to Manly or Watson’s Bay.

Our workshops are customisable to meet the interests and needs of your group. We offer personalised workshops perfect for private functions, welfare groups and corporate packages. Gift vouchers are also available and are the perfect gift solution for family and friends. Classes are held every day of the weekend, every week!

So come along, bring a friend or group and join us for a fun-filled workshop and take home your creative masterpiece! With our expertise and guidance, we can help you unleash your inner creativity and discover your full artistic capabilities.

There are four different options you can choose from for your workshop.
- Mosaic candle holder ($69 total)
- Mosaic table lamp ($89 total)
- Mosaic swan lamp ($109 total)
- Mosaic aladdin lamp ($129 total)

To choose the mosaic candle holder option, choose your preferred date and book without selecting any of the add-on options.

If you want to make one of the lamp mosaics instead, choose your preferred booking date and then select your preferred lamp option in the “add-on” section. This means you’ll make whichever lamp option you choose instead of the candle holder.

Please allow up to 7 days for the grout/plastering and drying process. You may pick your lamp in person at our studio during our workshop hours, or we may post it to you for $20.
