The teachers were great. The space was spacious and easy for me to get into with my wheelchair. This was such a fun course to do. I took my son and we both enjoyed learning from the east instructions the teacher provided and produced beautiful lamps that we're both proud of. We had to finish the lamps at home, but were given all the material and instructions for the end process. The Turkish tea and Turkish delights treats that we were given made it a little extra special.

Fun class with lots of colour options! We were able to take our time and weren’t rushed in the process. We had to take the lamps home but our friendly teacher explained all the steps so it was pretty easy! Loved the final result

The art studio was beautiful! So much inspiration for different ideas on how to design your lamp. The instructor was kind and clear. It was a nice environment and had a lot of options to choose from as far as materials go. It was an amazing day and you get such a cute keepsake out of it!

It was FABULOUS ! My daughter (age 28) and myself will definitely be back for more very soon ( and bring more friends!) Everything was perfect. Very professionally operated, lots of light & room to work. The glass pieces were great, also the tea and sweets. Lots of lamps already lit so you can get ideas. The teachers were clear in communication, and they were lots of helpers to guide us. They provide a varied design template for you to play with before you start - to choose your colours. We are very happy with our lamps !

Absolutely loved the Turkish mosaic lamp masterclass! I came with a friend and it was so relaxing choosing the mosaic tiles and bead colours. I loved how we were surrounded by the different Turkish lamps to inspire our designs and the complimentary Turkish delight and tea. Definitely would recommend this class to others.

I went with my friend and we both chose the swan lamp. It went as expected. We came up with a design, glued it on and had turkish delight and tea. But the workshop was more relaxing that I thought. The instructions were also easy to follow and our teacher Dani was very helpful. Me and my friend were slow but we were allowed to stay back a bit to finish our beading and even got to take some home to fill in the gaps made by those that fell. Oh and the venue was beautiful with all the lit up lamps. All in all, I would definitely recommend this workshop.

This was the first time attending a Turkish mosaic lamp class and it was very therapeutic. The venue was just a few minutes walk from the station. My friend and I had a lot of fun designing and decorating our lamps together. Our instructor was very kind and provided delicious Turkish delights with tea! Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to de-stress or have a good time! :D

An experience to be redone.
It was a perfect afternoon with my best friend, a romantic atmosphere with those colours and lights and creativity.
All you need is there available for you.
The only flaw is the time; 2 hours are not enough for the job; I then put my lamp inside the still-wet box and part of the beads and tiles.
But online, I was immediately assisted with a perfect solution

My mum and I really enjoyed this class as it was fun, creative and excellent value for money. The teachers were friendly, helpful and patient. It did feel a little rush at times and extending the class to 3 hours would be helpful. Would recommend this class to anyone who is looking for something new and fun to do!
We didn’t realise that you have to complete the plaster part at home the next day so make sure that you keep this in mind when you book the class. It seems very daunting at first but it’s actually not too difficult, just requires a lot of patience.

The mosaic art class was fantastic and our team had a great time! The staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout the entire class. The did an excellent job of explaining the different techniques and helping us to bring our ideas to life. They were always there to guide us and answer any questions we had.
What really stood out to me was how accommodating the staff were throughout the entire booking process. We had to change the dates twice and increase the number of people attending, but they were extremely understanding and kind about the changes, and were able to accommodate us without any issues.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the class and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and creative team activity.

Our teacher was really great she taught us how to make the lamps and made the space every comfortable, she even brought us Turkish tea and small snacks it was so nice. All materials were provided eg. tiles, beads, lamp stand ect. they were genuinely stunning, I was a bit worried about doing the plastering at home, but it was easy enough with the videos and directions and the end product is beautiful. This experience was definitely worth the money, best girls day out activity, it was really fun.

This was a fun class! The teacher was good although I think there could have been a little more guidance - perhaps after doing the general explanation, a second explanation to each table would help. I also think the plastering process probably needs a demonstration, as it has to be done after the class and plays a huge part in how the lamp will turn out.

Fun class - overall guidance was a little light on but the teach was very helpful with any questions that you had. Showroom had heaps of examples for inspiration and you could choose to use some of the templates or completely design your own. Grouting was more difficult than the video suggests and you need to work very fast & need to be very careful that it the grout doesn’t set too hard before you attempt to wipe it off. Overall I had a great time, I’m happy with my lamp & would recommend.

Fantastic teacher and the workshop is quite theraputic. The best thing I've done in Sydney this year! I have a special connection to Istanbul, and I have been trying to keep up with in the past years. Unfortunately my visit to Istanbul had been continuously postponed due to covid lockdowns which made me very sad. This class revived the flame in my heart! While it looks daunting the instructions were extremely helpful and the teacher was able to provide the right guidance to tweak my design! Strongly recommend to those who want a break from jaded office life.

Good fun class, we did it as a team work function. Everyone enjoyed the morning. We all loved our moon lamps. The only thing was we didn’t realise we would have to finish the process at home with the grouting, that left a small amount if disappointment otherwise a nice day.

Instruction was precise and informative. The class was full but all received personal attention. All staff were totally engaged in making our experience magical. Missing one star for communication. I emailed a week before the class to check that I didnt need to provide my own tables. However, when when the teachers arrived they asked for tables. Luckily we were able to make do, a little frustrating though.

It was a great night out with my girlfriends. It is not hard to make the turkish lamps but it does take time. Teacher was patient and she didnt kick us out even we went a bit overtime. The place itself looks beautiful. I can spend all day looking at the lamps there. Lots of colours to choose from and quality of the lamp was good with an led bulb. If I have to pick on one thing it's that some of the tiles are slightly misshapen but ot's just my OCD. Overall lovely experience and would definitely recommend it.

3 stars as I felt this was similar to following a YouTube video. It is very DIY. For example, teacher would show us how to stick some tiles on then leave to us for next 60 mins and told us to ask if any questions. The teacher did walk around 1 or 2 times in the 60 mins and was helpful when we did ask but yeah probably more suitable for groups who prefer alone time to chat whilst tiling their lamp.

The place is really nice, we got served also cookies and tea. There is a lot of lamps around the shop, so you get a lot of inspiration. There are a couple of patterns that you can follow or you can create your own idea. Also we got a little package to finish the plastering at home the next day. This class was such a great birthday experience for my bestie! The venue was on a busy road but inside the store was ambient and they had nice music playing. The materials provided were all we needed, and we had a big selection to choose from in terms of colours of beads! We spend 20 mins designing how we wanted our lights to look and then spent the next 2+ hours gluing the beads on and making them lovely! You get a take home plaster kit because you need to do the plaster yourself at home after the glue is dry (6+ hours), otherwise you can leave it there and they offer to do it for you for $10 and then you pick it up another time. The store was full of wonderful lamps so there was plenty (if not, too much) inspo!

This class was so amazing. The environment is so calm and full of inspiration. Our teacher was so nice and very helpful. This class is one of the most satisfying things I have ever done. All the glass and beads are in these cute little bowls and you get to plan out your design on little templates. We didn’t quite finish our in time so we got given little kits to finish them at home and the teacher explained it all to us perfectly. This class is SO fun and a must do if you’re in Sydney.

This was a great class.
All of the materials were set out very organised. The steps were clear to follow and I didn’t feel rushed. I finished it off at home for the final step of putting on the grout.

It would have been ideal if the teacher would have gone around each table to check on how each of us were progressing as we were working on our lamps. She only checked our work at the end.

Our teacher was great and incredibly patient with us. We went on a Monday, so it was quiet and we had plenty of face time. The venue was easy to find and all the materials were provided to start decorating our lamps. There wasn't time to do the plastering, since you have to wait for the glue to dry up completely, but you have either the option to do it at home afterwards or leave it with the guys to do it for you. We were happy with it overall and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

I got this as a gift for my Mum for her 50th Birthday. It was definitely not something we would usually sign up for as we both lack any creative talent but I am so glad that we did as we both had a wonderful time and now have a great lamp in both of our homes. As long as you can stick tiles on the glass lamp, it doesn't matter how messy it is (or how much creativity you lack!) as the end result is fantastic!

Wonderful experience! Everything was well organised and explained. The venue was befitting the class with lots of pretty lamps around giving us ideas on how we should make our lamps. The teachers were very patient and taught us the process in minute detail. We had a great time as a team bonding exercise

Good stress-free experience with great support and guidance from the teacher as well as a Turkish tea. The length of the workshop was great and allowed enough time to enjoy it while also completing my lamp

Great class, self-paced but well guided. Booked this class as part of my friend's Hens Day and it was the perfect relaxing afternoon activity after a busy morning and before a hectic evening. Highly recommended! My only regret is I ran out of time to check out the beautiful gifts in the gift shop area as we had to hightail it to our next location soon after we'd finished decorating our lamps!

I like the class, quite enjoyable and let me tried something new. Teacher is good and informative. Price wise I feel can reduce a bit to encourage people to learn new skills and experience.

The shop was large, airy, and decorated with a variety of finished lamps which were inspirational. Also a little intimidating as I wasn’t sure I could achieve similar results. Had nothing to fear as the instructors gave us everything we needed to succeed. Clear and easy to follow directions and lots of support throughout the process. Left inspired and wanting to do more.

My daughters and I had a wonderful time. I definitely needed help in getting started but my teacher Layla was so kind and helpful and kept checking on me. I left with a really beautiful lamp and so did my daughters. It’s is definitely worth giving it a try. Tea and biscuits too.
