Turkish Mosaic Lamp Making Workshop

Light up your life by making a gorgeous, colourful Turkish mosaic lamp! In this class, you will relax and unwind as you create your own unique candleholders or table lamp.

Traditional Turkish mosaic lamps originated 500 years ago. In this workshop, you will get the chance to add your unique imprint on this tradition by learning how to make your very own version. No experience is necessary to succeed in this class, and all the materials you need are provided - just bring yourself!

Guided by an expert instructor, you will learn some of the basic techniques of how to use mosaic tiles and beads to hand-make your own lamp out of metal, glass, and plaster. Each Turkish mosaic lamp is special and unique. There are variable mosaic lampshades and different designs, which can easily be customised. You will never be able to find two equal ones.

Once you have completed this class, your lamp will dry for at least one day. If you like, your instructor can grout your lamp for you - just select that as an option at checkout. Otherwise, you can do it yourself.

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday, hens party or bucks party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 6 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
