The Lampshade Making Workshop was pure joy from every stage of the making through to completion. Time zoomed by as we all shared tips, tricks and laughter. Kate’s clear instruction and care in guiding the process was wonderful. Our lovely hosts, Rebecca and Naomi were thoughtful in providing delicious refreshments and creative banter all within the gorgeous Made by Me Workshop.

Block Printing Fabric Workshop
Spent my weekend experimenting with block printing on fabric. Watching the pattern slowly come together was the most satisfying part of the process. Teacher was very kind and friendly.

It was a well spent afternoon with lovely ladies at the workshop. Rebecca was so sweet and knowledgeable, she explained all about making a candle from scratch starting from the glass container till the final product. Cold Process Soap Making Class
Super accessible workshop for someone with Autism. I received printed written instructions as requested, everyone had name tags, and verbal instructions were clearly demonstrated in stages. Class was small with just 5 participants so it was intimate and easy to follow. Rebecca was a lovely teacher. Highly recommended soapmaking class for beginners.

Block Printing Fabric Workshop
I spent a fabulous morning with a friend at the block fabric workshop. The teacher was so welcoming and helped us all create lovely tea towels and tote bags. I really recommend this to anyone who loves to try new things (you really do not need to be artistic) whilst laughing with friends or total strangers. Everything is provided, you just need to turn up, explore your creative side and have fun.

Having seen Amy's solo exhibition last year I was keen to enjoy one of her courses. Embroidery is part of my own art practice and I chose this class specifically to finesse my "painting" technique. Amy's generous and natural teaching style worked for everyone no matter their skill level and the kit and quality of the threads she supplied is stunning. Rebecca's studio space immediately makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Spending the day with my girlfriend and other likeminded creatives, stitching, learning and chatting was wonderful. Rebecca's homemade morning tea and excellent vegetarian curry for lunch rounded out the experience. Nourishing and nurturing with Sugar being the cherry on top. Thank you
