It was an amazing class. I bought this class as a gift for mothers day, and we had a wonderful time. We attended a morning class, which was a "mindful" class (afternoon classes were "tipsy"), and the class was small, only around 10 people total, which was lovely. We had plenty of time to build the terrarium and Renee was wonderful, told us how they chose the plants, how to mix the soil, so that if we were to build terrariums on our own we'd be able to do so too. There were plenty of plants to choose from, and lots of decorative rocks, pebbles and branches to add.

This was a great experience. Haylee is such a good teacher, gently guiding and encouraging us through the process and providing us with a lot of helpful tips that are invaluable. The process for making the kokedama was so calming and therapeutic and the ambience of the studio really lent to the whole experience. The drinks and nibbles were a welcome addition to the experience. Would definitely recommend, even for people who don't have a green thumb.

I attended a workshop today where I learned how to make a Kokedama moss ball, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. I honestly didn’t know what to expect going in, but from the moment it started, I was completely captivated.

Renée, the teacher, was absolutely brilliant. She explained everything so clearly and made the whole process feel simple and approachable, even for someone like me with no prior experience. Her calm and encouraging style created a really relaxed atmosphere, which made it easy to just enjoy the process and get creative.

There was something surprisingly satisfying about working with the materials and seeing the moss ball come together step by step. By the end, I felt not only proud of what I’d made but also genuinely inspired.

Overall, the workshop exceeded my expectations. It was engaging, hands-on, and incredibly enjoyable—I’d highly recommend it to anyone curious about trying something new.

I was given this as a gift and had a wonderful experience. We had some fun with mindfulness work up to get us into the right head space. A bit of fun.

Making our terrarium was easy with clear explanations from our teacher, with some funny stories added in.

We were all very happy with our end results. We were given instructions on how to keep them alive....hopefully.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was delighted to be given this as a gift.

Especially for someone who you may think had everything.

For myself at 72, it was perfect. Also great to do it with my daughter in law and son who had bought the gift.

We booked Tipsy Terrarium for our small workplace christmas party and we had a great time! Plenty of food and drink and Renee was a fantastic teacher. We all left with some awesome looking terrariums and care tips. Definitely recommend this workshop!

Attended with class with a friend, and we really enjoyed making lovely little terrariums. There was a good variety of plants to use, but no moss. No decorations/figurines provided to use in the terrarium though.

Teacher was very nice and helpful, although she combined 2 classes, so there were a lot of people and she was a stretched a little thin attention-wise

The advertised cup of tea and 'nibbles' were a little underwhelming (one plate with a few biscuits, tiny paper cups, very small choice of tea only). Better to not advertise that IMO, and just leave it as a gardening class.

Absolutely great! I was gifted this class as a Birthday present and attended with my partner. The instructor Renee was friendly, welcoming and informative. The class was loads of fun but also came away feeling like we’d learned a lot.

The terrariums we made are super cool (even if we do say so ourselves!). There were plenty of plants to choose from and lots of materials.

We loved this class! It was fun, a nice activity as a group and we had something lovely to take home at the end of it! Renae gave easy instructions and was very helpful when we didn't get it quite right, she was also relaxed as we chatted during the activity. Would definitely recommend this as a group task with something special to show for it!

Loved making these moss terrariums. Really fun to make and look really great. It's a great space and peaceful and easy instructions. Lots to chose from. I made 3 and can't decide which I like best.

Hayley came to our office to run the terrarium workshop, and it was such a hit!! We used this activity as a celebration and team building. Our terrariums now sit pride of place along our office windows.

I couldn't recommend Hayley enough; she offered up excellent plant knowledge and took the time to really bond with our group and answer all our questions.
