I had such a lovely time at the Ballerina with a Paintbrush workshop! I brought along a couple of second-hand wooden pieces I’d picked up from an op shop — a tray and a little drawer box — and it was so nice to give them a new life. The host was incredibly welcoming and explained everything really + more

The girls really enjoyed this class! They were proud of their work. Only thing is make sure you bring snacks in case they are still finishing off.. the kids were starving by 12.30

I’ve tried painting furniture before but wanted to learn some techniques. The class pace was flexible but it provided enough time to go through all stages of our projects. I fully enjoyed the class and the teacher gave us a lot of tips. Materials were provided and available if we wanted to purchase anything.

I loved it, the class was informative and I painted to drawers. I loved the advice and suggestions, I even got to do some stencilling to pretty up the sides of my drawers. I was able to purchase all the supplies I needed to finish my projects. One dresser, one wash table. We also had morning tea and + more

I can definitely recommend the beginners workshop. It’s a great way to learn the basics and practice on your own piece with Gaylene’s guidance.

Perfect class. I’d been thinking about trying a painting class like this for so long. This was a perfect starter class, I took along a wooden desk riser with drawers and it was the perfect size to prep, paint and finish in the 3hr workshop. Gaylene is so helpful and provides everything you could need to complete your piece.
