Suzie was a patient and supportive teacher. She explained and demonstrated everything clearly and was always on hand if anyone struggled with a step. The class included sewing, learning, tea, biscuits, chat and laughter - such a lovely way to spend an evening! I’ll be back for another of Suzie’s classes!

The class was fun and relaxing.

This was my second time joining her class, and after the first one, I felt much more confident using a sewing machine.

There were plenty of fabric patterns to choose from, and just picking one was already enjoyable.

The pace of the class was perfect, making it suitable for all levels.

By far the best intro to sewing class, my teenage daughter and I loved it!! Suzie London brings her joy expertise & enthusiasm of sewing and textiles to every class ensuring that each of us had the benefit of her instruction. We came home bubbling with excitement for the next class with a beautiful artisan sewed unique to us projects which included: cushion cover, zipped case, PJ shorts and my much loved and commented on tote bag. Not only a great class for beginners, but a genuinely relaxing and fun afternoon.

You wouldn’t need to know anything about sewing, but come away with confidence and inspiration, and having made a beautiful little pouch from scratch.

The pace was perfect and suited a range of levels, everything is provided and set up, including a beautiful selection of fabrics, zip and threads to help you make really lovely things.

I really enjoyed the class. I wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine, as I hadn’t used one since I was a child at school. This class was perfect for me. Suzie gave clear instructions and the pace was just right, so I felt relaxed. I was so happy to make a lovely tote bag. After the class, I now feel more confident using a sewing machine. I’m looking forward to joining the next one soon.

I had been looking for a class for my 11 year old that would teach the basics of sewing and create a simple project and had no luck for a long time. When someone shared this class it was the perfect fit for her. The session was easy for her to follow and she was thrilled with her finished cushion. I would recommend for anyone wanting to learn from scratch or refresh their knowledge/ skills. The Kalamunda Community Centre is a lovely location.

My daughter, granddaughter and I had a wonderful morning learning to make a tote bag, Suzy had a great selection of fabric to chose from and with the easy instructions to follow, at the end of the morning we all had our tote bags which we love, not sure if I want to give my tote as a Christmas gift or keep it

I had such a fun time. I went into the workshop having never touched a sewing machine and came out with my own hand-made cushion!

Suzie is a great teacher. She made me feel at ease and supported me through all steps of the process - even if I was the slowest student / perfectionist. Looking forward to doing another one of her workshops in the future.
