I booked this for my friends 30th birthday present as she’s always wanted to try it and it certainly did not disappoint!! We had so much fun, and were lucky that the class ended up just being our group of friends so the tunes were pumping.

Nelson was great at explaining everything and didn’t complain once about us constantly asking him for help! He had the best playlist on as well (we took note) and was so chill to be around - definitely made the experience better to have someone who was easy to talk and laugh with teaching and guiding us.

The studio is a short walk from Central station and easy to find. It’s decorated inside with heaps of tufting rugs and photos of past students so if you don’t have a design in mind don’t fret as there’s plenty of inspiration all over the walls! Would definitely come here again!

Had a wonderful time with Nelson, he gave us good clear instructions and left us to enjoy making the rugs. He didn’t rush us out when we went overtime and is doing the glue and backing for us which is great.

This was one of the most enjoyable classes I’ve done in a while. You get the opportunity to do it yourself, and have the option to ask for help when needed. Had heaps of fun doing it and our teacher was great help! Would definitely recommend trying it out, and looking forward to coming back. Final product turned out awesome.

Such a great activity! The host was very chilled and let us crack on with our tufting. But he was always around and willing to answer questions or check things for us. The initial demo was very quick, so we really got to spend all of the time tufting. We were the only ones in the workshop so we had loads of space and it wasn’t cramped. Would really recommend as an activity!

Studio was really easy to get to. Nelson was really friendly and accommodating. We had a pretty ambitious design and he helped us with some hard areas and gave us tips. There were a lot of wool colours which was great to choose from - especially if you’re doing a custom design. It was a lot of fun - would recommend!
