Luke was a great instructor with a perfect mix of teaching the theory, demonstration, and helping out when needed. Came away with an incredibly professional looking piece of furniture as well!

Great class. If you think you could have a go at teaching yourself how to weave a chair seat forget it. There’s way more to it than you think - you need this class! Very good value, an enjoyable day, Luke’s knowledge and skills very generously shared and I’m looking forward to signing up for another course soon.

Really enjoyed the class. The number of participants allowed sufficient 1:1 time with Luke our instructor, with lots of handy tips and tricks (or fixes!) along the way. A great experience and love what we were able to take away from the day in terms of new skills, experience and the finished stool. Highly recommend

The introduction to furniture cord weaving was fantastic at Among the Trees, if you are interested in learning a new skill you can use in your furniture making this was a great one day course. Love the way it was already to go and you could focus on the weaving, very well organised and bench set out. + more

Luke was patient, thorough and helpful across the two days. Although each step in the process seemed straightforward, furniture cord weaving is challenging and surprisingly physical. The quality of the final woven stools were extremely high! A fantastic introduction to Danish cord weaving. I highly recommend this class!

This was a great workshop. Rarely do you learn a skill from a really good teacher in a supportive environment (Among the trees are obviously passionate about wood and it’s products) and get to take home not only a great skill but also a really great finished product (includes all of the participants)
