What you'll do
This is a beautiful online class for young adults, that supports you to open to your true, natural self of joy, peace and love.
Your instructor, Yvette Swan, will communicate, guide and support you to discover and open to your natural self. For example, we explore what thoughts and emotions are and how they come from nowhere to then fall back down into nowhere.
We explore what happens when we bring thoughts and emotions we experienced in the past into the present and how this affects our mood and being with people and situations. We discover how thinking of the future can disrupt the joy of being here now. We realise our true nature beneath all of this movement of thoughts, emotions, the body and changes in life, and think about who we are beyond all this.
Each class may be slightly different. For example, we may start with some Qigong body movements to have our energy flow or meditation or a mix. Then we open up communication to discover what we notice.
This is a supportive class to relax, discover, feel the joy and love you are which is always here. You will finish up with new mindfulness techniques and a great feeling of openness and rejuvenation!
Knowledge Required
No knowledge required. This is a class for younger adults from 16 to 21-years-old, or near to, to discover your natural essence.
What to bring
- A small space around your computer to complete some Qigong body movements (not much space needed).
- A cushion or comfortable chair to sit in for the session and possible meditation.
Suitable for
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 16 years old). Adult accompaniment is not required.
This would also be a unique gift for her or gift for mum.
Your teacher
For over the past 20 years I have been a professional artist in the medium of painting. I studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at University of NSW, College of Fine Arts, Sydney. I worked in the film and photographic industries to then come back full circle to my love of painting. From this love I have exhibited in over 40 solo and group shows in galleries within Australia. Through my work I explore the essence of life – awareness, love, and the source of our being.
I am an Advanced Psychotherapist and support people through one to one sessions, classes, and retreats, to open to challenges being faced and to realise who is here which is deeper than any challenges.
