We had such a wonderful experience with Susan! This was a private oyster platter workshop that my brother, sister and I booked as a birthday gift for our mum, and it couldn't have been more perfect.
Susan was incredibly warm, patient and encouraging throughout the whole class. She made us all feel so comfortable, guided us every step of the way, and was always happy to help bring our ideas to life. It was such a relaxed, enjoyable few hours, with plenty of laughs along the way.
We're absolutely thrilled with our finished oyster platters and can't believe what we were able to create. They turned out even better than we imagined and will be something we'll treasure for years to come.
Thank you, Susan, for making Mum's birthday so special and creating such a memorable experience for our family. We would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a creative, fun and genuinely special experience!

My wife and I attended the oyster platter making pottery class with Susan at OCD studio. This was the most fun creative workshop I have attended so far. The atmosphere was super friendly. We booked Susan’s class for a girls’ catch-up, and it was perfect. Her studio is warm and welcoming, and she’s an excellent teacher. What a lovely way to spend 2 hours on a Saturday morning.
Our teacher was Susan who was organised, friendly, informative, calm and very helpful.
I made a platter which I was very happy with and can’t wait to get it after the drying and glazing process. I had never worked with clay before and it wasn’t particularly hard.

I had an fun and outstanding experience! From start to finish, the class was well organized and incredibly fun.
Susan’s guidance throughout the process was invaluable. She not only explained each step clearly but was also right there with us, demonstrating techniques and offering personalized feedback. The private setting of having only six participants in the class allowed for a wonderful balance of one-on-one attention, making it feel like we each had a private lesson with her.
One of my favorite aspects of the workshop was witnessing the progress of my pottery creations. It was fascinating to learn about the different types of pottery while also getting hands-on experience. I left the workshop feeling inspired and significantly more knowledgeable about working with clay.

I did the clay serving platter class with two of my friends and we honestly had the best time! The teacher was so patient, helpful and made the whole experience really fun.
