Teachers were very lovely and patient, passionate about their work. The studio is very cosy and a nice place to spend time with friends. They've inspired me to pick up pottery as a hobby after their session!

Was such a lovely class, had so much fun. Did this with my friend for her birthday, will definitely go again! Teacher was super helpful, helped everyone with whatever project they wanted. Gave just the right amount of help that you felt confident with what you were making, but not too much help where it felt like you were back at school . Highly highly recommend

I attended this pottery class for my 20th birthday and myself and all my friends had so much fun, our teacher Shane was super helpful and funny and made sure all our peices looked amazing and functional. The atmosphere of the studio is amazing and we got to play our own music through their speakers. This is my second time doing this class and every time I have so much fun creating something new! I definitely recommend to everyone it’s something that you can have fun doing at any age!! Shane is the best! Also for the fact that he made a private class especially for my birthday even though he had a market stall going on that weekend at finder keepers markets!

The class was awesome. Shane and Megan were wonderful teachers and my daughter and her friends had such a good time. They were patient, allowed the kids to explore their creativity and were so encouraging. I would recomend the class to anyone and will even be doing the adults class in coming weeks. The space is also gorgeous!

Really fun class! Shane and Airr are friendly and easygoing instructors, showing a bunch of clay techniques and then letting us loose to make anything we wanted. They were helpful with guidance and advice on how to achieve our visions. I really enjoyed how freeform the workshop was - so many clay workshops are prescriptive about what gets made. I was a little ambitious with my project and didn't get to finish my painting, but they were really flexible in letting me come back another day to complete it!

We had a private clay class at Market Studio and it was such a great experience! Shane is amazing, super friendly, helpful, and made the whole class really fun and relaxed. Hands-On Holds: Climber's Clay Workshop

Shane is a great teacher - going from 0 pottery experience to a climbing mug in 2.5 hours was a breeze and a lot of fun. Highly recommend for both climbers and anyone interested in pottery :)

This really good value for money. The teacher, Shane was very good at explaining techniques. Both he and his partner were encouraging when we got to have a go, and gave helpful advice and ideas. The small group meant we got lots of support when we needed it. My friends and I had a great time and I would definitely go again.

We attended the Clay Pets class with family and friends to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. My young son joined us as well, and he absolutely loved it.

Air and Shane were both so lovely and incredibly patient with everyone. Shane was a fantastic teacher - especially with my son - offering guidance in such a calm and encouraging way.

The whole atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it easy for everyone to enjoy themselves, regardless of skill level. We all had such a great time and created some really special memories together.

We would absolutely love to come back again. Thank you for such a beautiful and memorable experience!

My daughter just turned 9 last week and had the best birthday party at Studio Market, hosted by Shane & Air. The kids laughed, danced, and had the sweetest conversations around the table while creating their art pieces. Shane and Air truly gave their all, even joining in on the kids’ crazy jokes!

Very responsive teachers that thoroughly went through the steps, ranging from planter, vases, mugs, plates, bowls and matcha bowl. Beautiful array of paints and designs and let us use our own creativity as did not restrict on what to make which was highly appreciated. Despite our party arriving late, they were accomodating and understood the time constraints that we only had. Successfully were able to hold our large party of 12, acknowledging their commitment to squeeze in extra people. The atmosphere of the studio decorated with their curated pieces fully reflected on their personalities; comfy, home like and bubbly. I will definitely return to this studio, whether supporting their markets or recreating more pieces

We loved everything about this ceramics class, the way Shane taught us and then encouraged us to build our own inspired pieces was wonderful. Between Shane’s high and fun energy and Air’s thoughtful and creative approach, we three had a great time together on a Friday night in beautiful Annandale. And what a visual treat the cute shop is as well. Joyful yellow cafe curtains welcome you into the space, with a great variety of items on display surrounding the workshop area.

Really enjoyed our time at Market Studio making creations out of clay! Shane and Air were super helpful in helping us bring our clay visions to life. I really liked in this class that there was (basically) no limits to what we could create (other than the limitations of the clay itself) compared to other classes I've done in the past! Would highly recommend this class as it caters to all levels and it's a fun experience for all occasions!
