This wasn't just a class, it was an *experience*!!
If you have ever hesitated to create Indian cuisine because it felt too complicated, this is the class for you! This afternoon with Anu was like having your cool aunty tell you all the shortcuts and hacks to eat delicious Indian food, that is SO easy to make again!
The way the menu is designed you get to try a bunch of different things, and with the small class size everyone is hands on, and it's just lots of laughs and good vibes, while appreciating there are very quick and easy ways to make restaurant quality food at home!
So grateful to Anu for making this so accessible, and for someone like myself that can get overwhelmed in a big class, this was incredible! You won't regret it!

Amazing!!! Anu is a fantastic teacher. I'm amazed that I created a dish that tasted close to what I ate in India. Anu caters to your needs with a quick questionnaire and makes the night entertaining. I love the stories she told about life in India. I highly recommend this court, and even if you think curries might be too hot for you, Anu will make sure it isn't. I will be back again soon to learn another dish

Wonderful session! A great group of people and all facilitated by the warmth and expertise of our host Anu. It was such an amazing menu that we cooked too - delicious masala dosa with two scrumptious chutneys, and idli cooked several ways.
Anu was wonderful at instructing and including each of us in the process of preparing and cooking the meal and this was all interspersed with wonderful stories and highlights from her life back in India.
And then we all sat together and ate what we had prepared enjoying Anu's beautiful hospitality.
If you want to build Indian cooking skill or gain insight to Indian ingredients and cooking techniques - and experience this in a warm and welcoming context - I highly recommend this cooking class with Anu.

It was such a pleasure joining Anu's Indian Grocery and Tasting Tour. What blew me away was Anu's incredible depth of knowledge of regional Indian cuisine and street foods. Getting to taste a range of authentic Indian street food snacks at the beginning was exciting tasting things you wouldn't normally find at an Indian restaurant in Sydney. As a chef, it was also fantastic being guided by Anu's in-depth knowledge of cooking tools and ingredients at the Indian grocery store - there are so many and it's easy to get overwhelmed by choice and not know where to start. I learned so much from this experience and highly recommend Anu for an awesome experience!

The grocery tour was a really good way to spend an afternoon. We started with a picnic which was lovely, had Indian novelties (for us) like dhokla and fried potatoes with chutney and a delicate tofu curry with flatbread, homemade chai and of course snacks!. We met up just next to the shops in a little family park so really handy. Such a good idea to start with a picnic, once finished we popped over to the shops, and now I have all the ingredients to make those amazing meals myself! It was great, especially since this was a local tour so I can get some more supplies any time.
