We recently celebrated a hens party with the jewellery-making class at Miss Mariadas, and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and so much fun. The workshop was beautifully organised, with a fantastic selection of beads, charms, and materials that allowed everyone to create something unique and personal.
The instructor was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging, making the experience enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their creativity or jewellery-making experience. It was the perfect mix of relaxed socialising, laughter, and hands-on fun, giving the group plenty of opportunities to chat, bond, and make special memories together.
What made it even more special was that every guest left with a beautiful piece of jewellery they had made themselves, serving as a lasting reminder of a wonderful day celebrating the bride-to-be. The attention to detail, friendly service, and overall experience were truly outstanding.
If you're looking for a unique, memorable, and creative hens party activity, I cannot recommend Miss Mariadas highly enough. It was a highlight of the celebrations!

My girlfriend and I had THE MOST incredible time designing our charm necklaces with Tan! We ended up having a bit of a quieter session because by chance we were the only ones who had booked this session and it was super intimate. Tan really let us immerse ourselves in the process and provided a lot of great tips during the session, including how to make the necklaces look balanced and to be honest you honestly can't go wrong with whatever design you choose. All the charms and necklaces are insanely high quality and it's an absolute bargain you get to make your piece from scratch, learn the art of jewellery making, all whilst having a prosecco and making the best memories. 10/10 would do again! Being able to choose our own gold charms and create a necklace that feels so personal was such a joy. The guidance throughout the class was exceptional, our teacher is an incredibly talented jewellery designer, and she explained each step so clearly while making us feel completely at ease and supported.
It was creative, relaxed, and genuinely inspiring. I walked away not only with a piece I adore, but with such a full heart. I honestly wish I could do this every weekend!

Our bride-to-be wanted a fun activity to celebrate her hen-do, and this class really delivered.
Choosing all of the charms was probably everyone's favorite part - there were so many to choose from and sparked good conversation between guests who may not have known much about each other before the event.
Walking away with a piece of jewellery that we will all wear (vs a canvas we would have to carry around and probably dump before the end of the night - IYKYK) was a really fun way to kick-off our celebrations for the day. Would happily do it again!

We were the only people booked for the session so we had the store and the charm bar to ourselves. The set up was super cute and the host was super warm and welcoming, we even got (optional) a welcome from adorable shop pup Chilli.
A really lovely experience to share with a friend or a group. We now have a lasting momento of her visit and better than anything you'd find in a souvenir shop.
It was a real treat and fun element to add before heading out to dinner. Super accessible by Public Transport too with train and tram nearby.
