Brought mum to the class on Mother's Day, she loved it! It was an open studio where we get to choose our own pottery and paint freely. Instructions were easy to follow. Excited to see the finished product!

Wheel Throwing Class: Clay Soirée
We did this as a Mothers Day gift for all of the Mums in the family. A great catch up over an activity. A range of ages from teens to octogenarians and this suited everyone.
We all had the best time. The teaching was exemplary, breaking it down and not leaving anyone behind. This meant we all came away with a piece we were very proud of.
I would definitely recommend this class to everyone. We can’t wait to get back and have another go on the wheels.

This is the second time I have done this workshop and I love it! It's great value and the fact the piece is food grade once you pick it up means it's not just a fun project but something you can actually use. I'd recommend coming in with some ideas because the 2 hours fly by.

I took my friend to this class as a birthday gift and we had an awesome time. Christine was very warm and welcoming and she explained everything clearly. It was so nice to do some relaxing activity while catching up with my friend. I highly recommend it.

I took my daughter along to the Wheel Throwing Pottery Class and we had such a great morning! Our teacher Juliet was very thorough and showed us all the relevant techniques for getting a basic bowl/vessel made on the wheel. Facilities were great - lovely studio space to work in and plenty of help when needed. Thankyou to 2 Mayfield Street! :)

Really loved the class. Great value for money. Short intro by the teacher then you’re left to do what you wish with your piece. Lots of different options to make too.

Wheel Throwing Course for Beginners and Intermediates
For the last 6 weeks I've thoroughly enjoyed the 6 week pottery course at 2 Mayfield. The instructor (Sophia), lesson plans, studio, fellow students and atmosphere were fantastic. Definitely will be continuing casual classes in pottery as this was absolutely fabulous 10/10!

Perfect intro class to wheel throwing. There was enough time to be shown the fundamental techniques and build two vessels. The instructor, Amber, was excellent. It's a great way to spend two hours. Fantastic value for money too.
