Textile Artist

I am a passionate and highly skilled textile/visual artist with nearly 20 years of experience in weaving and art making. I have a master’s degree in woven textile design, and I have been a practising studio artist since 2005. I have frequently exhibited in Australia and overseas, as well as worked on large-scale public art and socially engaged art projects. I work from my home studio, and I sell my works at art galleries and on my online shop. I draw inspiration from the wilderness, the human condition, and my Hungarian cultural heritage. I specialise in loom and off-loom weaving using alternative and recycled materials to create 2- and 3-dimensional mixed-media artworks. After gaining experience through private tutoring, I opened my home studio in 2023 for group classes. I’m excited to share my skills and knowledge in giving the ancient technique of weaving a contemporary application.
