What you'll do
In this five-week painting course in Curlewis, you will discover the joy of creating beautiful paintings in oil or acrylic.
Beginners will start by completing a landscape painting, learning the fundamentals from underpainting to glazing techniques. For experienced artists, you have the freedom to choose your own subject, drawing on our teacher's expertise to enhance your skills in these mediums.
This course will cover how to:
- Gain a solid foundation in painting techniques
- Develop an understanding of colour mixing, layering, and glazing
- Explore creating drama and depth in your artwork
Through this course, you will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative space dedicated to your passion for painting and share ideas with other like-minded people.
By the end of the course, you will take home your own masterpiece(s), as well as feel a sense of accomplishment and pride as you see your skills and confidence grow.
