Get your spice on and warm the cockles of your heart as you learn the sacred art of creating a warming and ridiculously fragrant spiced tea blend, the cultural drink of India. With our hands wrapped around delicious cups of hot masala chai, together we will sip and share tips on creating a balanced blend of tea and spices that is just to your liking. We will explore the flavour profiles and healing properties of the incredible organic ingredients used and then you'll get creative and make your very own blend. So aromatic and spicy!
Immerse yourself in this wonderful creative experience that will ignite your senses, warm your soul and instill a wonderful sense of well-being. Go on.... CHAI IT!
Learn about masala chai history and alchemy from award-winning Certified Tea Master and Certified Tea Blender, Belinda Hellyer, while you taste chai teas from the Brewed By Belinda range.
Explore the various types of teas, caffeine free tea bases, spices, herbs, petals and peels that can be used to create a spiced tea. Learn about the properties and flavour profiles of each ingredient and how to layer them to create a delicious balanced masala chai blend. Hand blend your own organic spiced tea blend to take home and share with family and friends and learn about the various chai brewing methods!
Each guest will make one personalised masala chai blend to take home of approx. 50 grams with access to approx. 25-30 teas, spices, herbs, peels and petals to work with. Package it in one of our lovely tea pouches and name it using one of our lovely personalised tea labels. Bliss!
