In this class, we will work on the general concept of building a letter, then learn how to use that across the alphabet and apply it to different styles. A solid chunk of time is spent creating glorious compositions full of personality!
Even if you're new to hand lettering, this workshop is designed to be welcoming and supportive, making it a great experience for beginners.
By the end of the class, you'll leave having a good understanding of the process involved in creating beautifully handcrafted letters.

What to bring
- We'll have a fair amount of pencils and pens but if you'd like to bring your own, feel free!
- Eraser and Sharpener
- Fine liners
- Ruler
You will definitely need a phrase that you would like to hand-letter. 3-6 words is ideal to start!

I’m a Lismore born, Brisbane based lettering artist, muralist and Illustrator with a love for thoughtful composition and delicious flourishes. Self taught and obsessed with progressing in such a satisfying medium, giving personality to letters, words and phrases is my favourite way to spend any spare moment.
My work is often about keeping it real and showing up exactly as you are with no judgement. I focus on encouraging kindness, authenticity and vulnerability through my medium and am forever finding new ways to facilitate joy for those that encounter my work!
I love sharing the beauty of lettering with others and believe that it's a skill anyone can acquire with some ambition and practice once they have the fundamentals taught to them.
