What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in Perth? Learn how to create a warm bowl of Japanese ramen.
This class discusses the main styles of Japanese ramen soup and their differences in type: Shio, Miso, Shoyu and Tonkotsu.
You will be treated to Chef Sunny's delicious taster of Shoyu (pork bone and soy sauce based) ramen before engaging in a cooking class focused completely on creating the perfect bowl of Shio Ramen.
From elements such as Pork Belly Chashu to the creation of clear pork fat and Menma, every element of the perfect bowl of Shio Ramen will be explained and tasted before everyone creates their own Shio Ramen, complete with noodles and soft boiled egg.
In this class, you'll be cooking dishes hands-on, and at the end of the class you'll get to enjoy the food you've made. We are fully BYO and do provide glassware if needed (for large groups we ask that you bring an Esky as fridge space is limited).
If you have special Dietary Requirements, please email The Cooking Professor before booking to discuss if we can cater for you in this Class.
Please wear flat, enclosed shoes and recommend comfortable clothes.

What to bring
You don't need to bring anything. We supply everything you need, including your ingredients, aprons and recipes. Please wear flat, enclosed shoes and recommend comfortable clothes.

Discover the joys of cooking in our fun, interactive learning environment at our culinary school in Perth! When you join one of our cooking classes, you join a small team and everyone focuses on making a different dish under the guidance of the instructor. After preparing your dish and learning some new recipes, we all sit down to share the food in a massive feast!
Our three-hour cooking classes in Perth have you cooking for two hours in our open-plan kitchen and we keep our groups small so you get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor to ask questions, learn tips and tricks, and of course meet new people! We also cater for groups with our Corporate and Private Events – just ask! Our experienced instructors ensure you have a fun time in your food class, regardless of your age or skill level.
