What you'll do
Kids and teens will learn the craft of hand embroidery to create their own plant design in our live-streamed workshop. In this class the kids have an opportunity to learn the skill of hand sewing whilst having plenty of room for creativity with colour, pattern and texture.
They will learn how to set up their embroidery hoop, get their pattern ready and learn a collection of basic embroidery stitches. A wonderful chance to learn through creativity and meet your friends online. All materials are provided.
A pattern is included in the kit but please feel free to bring along any ideas you may have! At the end of your class, you'll have a complete (or almost complete) design and the confidence to continue DIY embroidery projects in your own time.

I started making and crafting as a way to practice mindfulness and create time for myself in this busy world.
My journey started when I made a bag for a girlfriend as a gift and not before long I was designing and making beach bags and selling them at local markets. My passion and hobby became my work, what a joy!
I began to explore other arts and crafts including jewellery making, embroidery, crochet and macrame. Whilst I love making and creating for markets and my Etsy store, my real passion is inspiring others to get creative and to enjoy the process. I truly believe everybody has a creative side!
