Sinki is a jewellery retail shop located in King st, Newtown, NSW. While we sell a large variety of handmade jewelleries and fashion items, we are currently focusing on running our resin-jewelleries making workshops for customers who would like to experience the joy of making their own jewellery pieces!

Sinki and her friend were super friendly and helpful. Our group of 5 made at least 2 sets each and leave for Sunki to make into beautiful earrings or pendants for us. She provided aprons, gloves and ear protection for us all. I would highly recommend this class for beginners

The resin jewellery class is held in Suki’s gorgeous shop. There are lots of examples of her work to provide inspiration but she encourages participants to be creative.

There are lots of colours, glitters, metal leaf and other embellishments to choose from.

The actual making process is straightforward but requires a steady hand.

The resin needs a few days to cure so you don’t get your items straight away.

Sinki is absolutely lovely. She was welcoming the moment we came in and was very helpful throughout the workshop. We all had a lot of fun learning how to use resin. Great value for money, I didn’t think we’d be able to make more than one item and we did! We will definitely return.

We had a good time. There could be more guidance on what to expect, what to do and what you get. Our group were all in agreement that the teacher could explain what to do better and thought for what you get the class was incredibly overpriced. We walked away with 2 items each which didn’t seem in line for what we paid.

Hi Erin!

I feel bad you only had a 3 stars experience as majority of my customers usually leave happy with what they made (some even made up to 20items) I have explained in the beginning of the class if you chose a bigger size moulds you will make less pairs, and all 3 of you chose some of our our largest mould, and you combined 4 items in one pair of earrings(the two roses on top could be a separate pair). This photo you show is 4 items being combined in two keychains, they could alternatively be 4 pendants or 4 keychains but it’s your friend’s choice to combined them:)

It is not overpriced because teacher spent 1.5-2hr to teach and watch the whole time, clean the place after, then another 1-2hour to polish and attach the pieces together, take photos and send it out.

Next time you could make something smaller and you can make many pieces! I love the ones you made though they are so pretty

Such a fun and relaxing workshop! The teacher was so kind and patient with us when explaining how to make the resin earrings/keychains. She let us use a diverse range of materials and colours, and gave us very helpful suggestions for what to do!

Had a lot of fun creating 4 pairs of really cute earrings each.
Our tip would be to search up some designs before the class - Sinki has some great ones on her Instagram page. We didn't so it took a short while to choose our designs, colours and textures/patterns but we winged it and got there in the end with Sinki's help.
Oh and don't bring food. We didn't have time to snack coz we were too busy working away before the resin became to hard to use.

Such a fun class! Sinki was very knowledgable and helped us every step of the way while still letting us have full control and creativity over our designs.
We were in a small intimate class of just 4 of us, and the time went so quickly, wished it was longer! Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will definitely come back again.

We had a great experience! Sinki was very nice and had great ideas. We did this as a family for my 13 year olds birthday. We all had fun even my husband. The jewelry turned out cute and my 13 year old loved it!

Great experience creating resin jewellery at Sinki! Sinki was an incredibly helpful teacher and guided us throughout the whole process, giving useful tips and tricks! There were a large variety of moulds and materials provided to work with, an a choice of making earrings, rings, key chains or pendants. Well worth the cost of the workshop!

The teacher was very patient, she stood by me the whole time I was there making the jewellery and made sure I did it all correctly. There are lots of colours and pretty things to make your jewellery design your own and absolutely fab! I recommend this workshop for anyone looking for a good time creating something beautiful with their hands!

I organised this class because I had friend visiting from Canberra. Neither of us had ever worked with resin before. The shop the class was located in was so quirky and fun. There were loads of examples for inspiration. Our teacher was amazing, she gave us loads of useful advice and helped us design our jewellery based on what we were looking for. All the materials were provided and there were so many options. We were given quite a lot of resin as well, so we could design a few pieces trying different things. I made 5 smallish things and I am so happy with the result. My friend and I had a wonderful time.

This was a great experience. We didn’t feel rushed, we chose our resin colours, created beautiful earrings. It was a very intimate class which was great! Enough materials, if you want extra earrings, you have purchase more backings. Overall we had the best time!

The teacher, Sinki, is absolutely exuberant for her passion in the art of beautiful jewellery making. Lee (or Leigh? I’m sorry if I butchered your name!) is absolutely passionate with resin art as well. They are both highly knowledgeable, creative, polite, gave great feedback, tips and suggestions to make my finished product look incredible.
Venue: I love how the workshop is set up in the heart of the store, because you are surrounded by beautifully unique jewellery and incredible art, while creating your own piece of earrings and pendant that has no replica anywhere else in the world. Knowing this made me feel like my finished product is unique and sentimental enough as a special gift to a friend or family (but in all honesty, I would rather wear it for myself because my finished products look insanely good!).
Materials provided: I was immediately handed an apron to protect my clothing. There are so many beautiful materials to work with at the table from a large variety of trays for mold to choose from, resin, a very wide selection of resin colours, sparkles, glitter, beads, so so so much more - including sand!
This experience was definitely great value for money. Initially I thought it would cost around $150+ but was quite surprised to find it is $95 so I had to grab that opportunity right away. And I’m glad I did!
I created earrings and pendants and learned so much about resin art jewellery. I went into the class without any prior knowledge or experience on resin art jewellery - not even a quick google or YouTube video tutorial. I joined the class because I saw photos from Class Bento on how incredible the earrings look so my curiosity led me there. Sinki and Lee was so joyfully helpful that it made my whole experience a joy to be a part of.

The venue was super cute & the designs were amazing, honestly you could make a lot of things with the resin provided, i made around 5 pieces and they were really fun to make, definitely worth the money, it was a very fun activity to do on our girls day out!

Resin earring making was amazing! Set in a gorgeous shop in Newtown with great music! Surrounded by lovely cafes and bars and free parking! Sinki and Lee had everything all ready and were so supportive and encouraging every step of the way! Great girls day out! I made two pairs of big earrings, my sister in law made 3 earrings and a keychain! Definitely a must do overall 15/10 So good I will definitely be back to do it again

The teacher Sinki was super friendly, knowlegable and gave us great ideas on colours, shapes and effects for our masterpieces. The location was great as it’s close to public transport and a trendy shopping strip. The class was well prepped with lots of colours, shapes, diamontes and pearls for our bling blings. Aprons and gloves were provided. It was a wonderful place to unleash our inner creativity. The experience was fantastic and I will definitely do it again!
