Acrylic Painting 101 - Jellyfish

Participants will be guided step-by-step by our experienced artist and educator to create your own version of her original Jellyfish acrylic painting.

In the workshop you will use Reeves medium body acrylic paints and learn to mix, layer and create bold, expressive strokes directly on the canvas in bright colour using a combination of brush and palette-knife techniques.

Explore and develop your creative skills in a supportive and fun environment – English and Mandarin language direction available!

Meet the Artist

Suzy Zhao is an artist from the Chongqing Municipality, China. After receiving her Bachelor of Visual Communication Design from the acclaimed Chongqing University of Education, Suzy has taught visual arts at a number of highly respected schools and art centres in her native China and Australia.

Her passion for painting, drawing and photography and comprehensive knowledge of techniques have made her a sought-after member of our Castle Hill team. With 5 years teaching experience, Suzy has learnt a lot about understanding how to make classes fun and interactive for students of all ages!

Suzy Zhao 是一名来自中国重庆市的艺术家。 Suzy从著名的重庆第二师范学院获得视觉传达设计学士学位后，曾在她的祖国中国及澳大利亚的许多备受推崇的学校和艺术中心教授视觉艺术。

她对绘画、素描和摄影的热情以及在技术上的全面了解，使她成为我们 Castle Hill 团队的一名备受追捧的队员。Suzy拥有 5 年的教学经验，这让她学习到了很多关于如何使课程能让所有年龄段的学生都能够觉得有趣和有互动！
