We loved our cocktail making class It was the perfect activity for our hens party! Grant was so relaxed and informative. He had great communication leading up to the event and made it all so easy. The drinks were delicious and it was great to be able to chat and mingle in between each cocktail. I'll be recommending Back Bar to all my friends for future events.

The teacher was so wonderful and great with our hens party, we had people attend late and he promptly made the first drink they missed out on for them to make sure they were included. He didn't start on time due to our request and waited for us to advise when we were happy with no hesitation (which he didn't need to do). Also everyone loved the cosmos and mojitos, and we have people who normally don't like cosmos. All in all our hen had a great time and he was a huge help to achieving that.

We had such a great session!
Grant arrived exactly on time with all the materials. He was friendly, approachable and a great teacher.
We loved that he brought every possible item required for the class with him, and it was all very clean.

We learnt 3 different styles of cocktails which was nice. He gave plenty of options for people with varying tastes, and he also gave us follow-up recipe cards which I think was a great touch.

We enjoyed all the recipes and enjoyed learning techniques for making to cocktails.

Sadly, there were too many people unfamiliar and unorganised in the group. We would have preferred half the size so we moved through the cocktail making and trivia quicker. We planned for a 7:30pm finish and didn’t get out until 8:15pm.

Maybe it was the presentation skills of our barman that slowed us down!

But with saying this we really enjoyed the event and now we are off to bed. Lol.

Our team thoroughly enjoyed the Mojo Lounge cocktail making experience. The mix of cocktail making, trivia and having time for our group of 17 to interact was perfect. Sam was a really great host, easy to follow and fun.

I would prefer a class that's focused on cocktail making instead of having trivia. The instructor could have discussed many basic topics such as different types of cocktails (why is it shaken instead of being stirred etc), creative ways of garnishing and how to build a basic home bar (what liquor to start with, types of glasses to have, etc).

Thanks! The class was fun and the cocktails yummy. The only things I would change are:

1.Go a bit slower with instructions - it was a bit too fast
2. The bubble wrap packaging - this was really unexpected, there are so many alternatives these days, this was completely unnecessary, also very excessive amounts. Paper would do just fine.

Highly recommend Mofo Lounge's virtual cocktail making classes. Our experience (from the original planning stage with Grant to the actual class run by Sam) was seamless. It's fair to say that they may not say the same about us, with changing numbers and people having tech fails trying to follow a simple Zoom link! But none of this was an issue for Mofo lounge, and Sam was a friendly, patient and knowledgeable teacher. Almost as a side note, the cocktails were brilliant! After the class, most of our group were asking whether Mofo Lounge does more classes with different cocktails.

This was a really fun class and a fantastic night. The only feedback I have is that it would be great if we could do trivia in our groups- so keep the breakout rooms going for trivia. Cocktail kit I received was great, everything I needed.
The class group size was large, I hadn't expected it to be so large, and due to the size of the group there was no group interaction, everyone on mute. I had expected a little interaction so the event felt social. Cocktails were delicious and trivia was a nice addition.

The Cocktail & Trivia session went really well going on the feedback that I have had from the group. Unfortunately I had to leave the group half way through, but the barman who ran the session knew his stuff and was very personable. We would use them again definitely. Great way to start the weekend.

This class was really well run. All the ingredients arrived very quickly and there were clear instructions on what to prepare. The cocktails were super easy to make and they were delicious. The trivia was also good fun and gave us a chance to enjoy our cocktails.

The pre-class instructions were great and I felt well-prepared prior
to the class. The pack arrived quickly and contained everything I needed. The trivia component was fun and there was plenty of time to rinse equipment. I had a really great time and learned three cocktails, one of which I would definitely make again.

A lot of fun and definitely a change from boring iso weekends! Clear instructions and easy to follow. Trivia is a great addition and a good way to give people the chance to finish their drinks and have a bit of fune

Grant was great, kept everyone engaged kept it fun and exciting!
Everyone in the group agreed that it was a good experience !
Would 110% recommend- Grant was also an amazing photographer and took multiple group shots for us throughout the experience!

Grant was a great teacher, very patient and informative. We loved our cocktail class and found it easy that we didnt have to do any cleaning in between. It could have been nice to pick the different cocktails however they suited our day perfectly. Will recommend to others, great day! Thanks
