What you'll do
Learn foundational cross stitching skills in this relaxing workshop and create your own set of mini pot plant designs!
This workshop is perfect for beginners who have never tried cross stitching or needlework before. After all, cross stitching is a fun and fool-proof method of embroidery!
In this beginners class, you'll learn all the basics of cross stitching and will leave the class with your own mini masterpiece. The class fee includes a DIY cross stitch kit bundle valued at $49! This means you can create two more projects to complete at home, as well as the skills to pick up any cross stitch kit you may have your eyes on.
The session will start by going over your cross stitch supplies and learning how to set up your embroidery hoop. You'll learn how to read a cross stitch pattern and and by the end of your lesson you'll be well on your way to being a cross stitch pro!
Tea, coffee and snacks will also be provided. So you can cosy up and get creative with your friends!
Want to have a crafternoon party? Your teacher can travel to you! These cross stitching sessions are available for any social event - both corporate and private so it's perfect for birthday party ideas, date nights or team building activities.

What you'll get
You'll receive a DIY cross stitch kit valued at $49 in your choice of design plus embroidery scissors valued at $10. It includes all the tools and supplies you need to create your masterpiece as well as detailed instructions and video tutorials in case you'd like to go over them after the class.Your kit will include:
- Instruction sheet and cross stitch pattern
- Three 10cm embroidery hoops
- Three pieces of Aida fabric
- Full skeins of thread in seven colours
- Two needles
- Two embroidery threaders
- Ribbon for hanging your piece
- Steel embroidery scissors (these usually aren't included in our kits but are added for our lovely workshop customers!)
