Looking for slow craft activities in Sydney? Join our beginner's embroidery workshop in St Peters today!
In this one-day workshop, your teacher Kasia will cover eight different stitches, which are all you will need to create any of her patterns and to continue creating your own unique projects.
A big focus in this class is on letting go of perfection and learning to stitch in a relaxed manner to create amazing results. You will follow a pattern and colours expertly selected by Kasia to enable more time to be spent on stitching and practise solid and semi-solid fills, outlines, a variety of leaves and isolated stitches as embellishments.
A wonderfully immersive experience, perfect for absolute beginners and those wanting to learn Kasia’s unique style of embroidery.
Kasia's designs are inspired by her Polish heritage and her love for folk art and embroidery. With her background in graphic design and fine art, she has created designs that are not only visually stunning but also easy to stitch. She believes in teaching others to create their own handmade treasures, emphasizes the magic of mindful creativity, and celebrates the unique charm found in imperfections. Kasia also brings with her many of her own pieces, samples, and beautifully stitched items, like bags, zipper pouches, journal covers, and even quilts! You will have time to look at everything, get inspired, and take photos as well as buy embroidery kits and threads at the end of the workshop.

This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners and experienced embroiderers wanting to learn Kasia's unique style of embroidery.
What you'll get
- Six-inch embroidery hoop.

Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!
After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.
