What you'll do
In this engaging and hands-on workshop in Sydney, you will learn the fascinating art of ceramic glazing while sipping on your favourite drink. You don't need any prior experience---this class is perfect for beginners!
You will learn how to apply stoneware glazes to two ceramic pieces that the Klaypots team have made in the studio. You get to select the pieces and no two are the same. We then teach you how to brush on, dip and pour a selection of stoneware glazes we have in the studio. The two pieces will be available for collection a few weeks after the class. Each piece is food safe, dish washer safe and microwave safe once fired.

There are two bisque-fired pieces available to glaze. They will be ready a few weeks after the class, once they have gone through the final firing.

I am Karina and I am a ceramic artist, business owner and teacher based in Crows Nest on the upper north shore in Sydney. My passion for ceramics started out as a hobby in 2016 and over the last two years has really grown into a small business with a focus on handmade small batch ceramics and tailor-made events for clay lovers and learners.
I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create ceramics and explore clay, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.
I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful.
