What you'll do
Looking for exciting Sydney classes that accept Creative Kids Vouchers? This workshop will help your little one explore the messy fun of watercolour painting for beginners.
With guidance from friendly artist Pamela, children will learn about wet-on-wet techniques, brushwork, mixing colours and layering as they express themselves creatively to paint their own monster character.
In this class, we will explore these techniques using a monster and an ice cream as our starting point to create a wild and vivid picture that tells a fun story.
We will also paint fun bookmarks as we learn watercolour techniques, there is something that will appeal to all kids in this course.
This painting class makes a fantastic birthday party for kids and is sure to inspire their young minds with bright colours and vibrant imagery in a fun, hands-on session of watercolour painting.
Your teacher Pamela has lots of experience facilitating huge groups at festivals and events, so you can rest easy knowing your little artists are in good hands as they cover important concepts and techniques to make their own watercolour art at home.

I have had the best life ever, following my passions. I have worked as a script editor and writer and been a course leader and senior lecturer in the UK in film and TV and before that I was an illustrator and artist.
