Watercolour is a fantastic medium for painting flowers, and with this beginner-friendly paint and sip class, you'll be surprised to discover how much fun and how rewarding watercolour painting can be!
You will arrive to find flowers on the table, ready to be painted from life. Flowers are made up of simple shapes, easier to draw than they appear.
Class outline:
- Discuss art materials for watercolour
- Practice some simple watercolour techniques
- Discover how to draw flowers from life
- Use your newly acquired skills to paint some flowers
- Add ink to your paintings
Gather your friends for a fun and rewarding few hours of painting and sipping, whether you're after unique birthday party ideas, hens party ideas or even casual team building activities.
At the end of the class, you'll take home some A5 watercolour paintings, as well as the skills and confidence to continue exploring this relaxing medium.
We have transformed our little worker's cottage into an inspiring arty space for art classes for your enjoyment. Come and relax into an arty experience for a few hours. You will have fun, get creative and learn something new. Bring some drinks and nibbles for you and your friends.
This is a low anxiety space set up just for you and your friends to get down and arty. Watercolour means that you can dress up, free from the worry of ruining your clothing! West End is super central and there are many places nearby to kick on after your class.
- A few A5 watercolour paintings of flowers along with your preparatory paintings and practice sketches.
- Use of all brushes, paints and pens.
- Use of cut flowers as subjects of your paintings.
This class is great for a birthday or hens party.

Stewart splits his days between organising and running paint and sip classes, painting murals commercially, painting artworks for sale online and in a gallery, and online selling t-shirts and prints.
