What you'll do
Join Posy Ceramics in Sydney and have fun unleashing your own creativity in this prosecco and pottery workshop!
In this class, we focus on drawing out a design and painting it on a pre-made ceramic mug, wine glass or plate!
During the two hours, you'll perfect your very own ceramic creation. You will be provided with one pre-made stoneware ceramic piece. Some include a large pre-made Posy Mug approximately 350ml-400ml in size, plates and tumblers and are already bisque fired so it is ready to paint by you.
With your chosen ceramic piece, you will have time to draw out and practise your designs before choosing glaze colours from an array of underglazes in various colours and shades.
Each session starts with a complimentary glass of bubbles but the venue is BYO so you can bring whatever bevvies (or not) that you'd like! Food is not provided throughout the session but you can bring snacks if you wish.
This class is fun and social and everyone will end up with a painted piece ready to be fired in the kiln and collected/posted to you in two to four weeks!
The pieces are functional (can be used with hot/cold drinks and food) and can be put in the dishwasher/microwave.
