Red Rosie is a locally-owned, first-of-its-kind scent studio in Australia. Offering workshops dedicated to finding your signature scent, we capture emotions and aspirations to deliver as candles or perfumes in our guided workshops made to satisfy even the most curious of noses.
Our workshops are a hands-on scent designing experience where you have full rein to explore everything from naturally-occurring scents such as vetiver or rose absolute, to the sweet spices of cardamom and clove, or the more man-made experiences of freshly cut green grass and petrichor. Everyone’s nose is different and we want to help you find the scent that encapsulates you – there are no right or wrong answers here.
Relaxed and fun, our workshops are the perfect gift for a loved one, a bridal party, or just a rainy day activity. Everything is provided so all you need to do is sip, smell and socialise as you are guided through this one-of-a-kind, scent-sational workshop. You will receive a complimentary drink upon arrival.

Absolutely loved it! The best present for my sisters birthday and Elke really knows her stuff! Pampered with a glass of bubbles and some brownies, we got to work sniffing all the sniffs and struggling to find our favourites to make a blend. Would 100% come back and recommend to others.

Elke was so knowledgeable and helpful. She started the class with a good introduction and provided guidance with every next step. It was really exciting getting to learn about individual scents and how they come together to make perfumes. We enjoyed being able to smell everything and being able to create our own personalised perfumes. It was such a beautiful present idea and we loved the champagne and brownies provided.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my best friend and it’s in the list of best presents I’ve bought. We ended up being the only 2 people in the class and it was great! Our teacher helped us tweak our perfumes so we came out with a scent we both loved.

This was by far the best ‘class’ type of activity I have ever done. So much fun, educational and expertly run.
The range of scents which are available for you to smell and use in your own creation far exceeded my expectations and I was so happy with my final product.
The class is great value for money given that you take home your own perfume at the end, the glass of bubbles and brownie was just the cherry on the cake

A terrific class, if perfumery is something you have ever wanted to explore, this is the perfect entry for it. The array of scents that you can blend is fantastic, the only limit is your imagination. Elke is super knowledgeable and friendly, and has great insights into pairings that you may not even expect to work!

Given the class idea, I already had high hopes for the night but these were well exceeded!
Elke the instructor was so welcoming and kind. Elke also demonstrated a breadth of knowledge about oils and fragrances. As a complete novice I felt very comfortable asking questions. Elke created an atmosphere of fun, experimenting and learning. I genuinely had the best night. I will be recommending this to anybody willing to listen and have already made posts about it on all my socials. I just love the fact I have created and named my signature scent that I can reorder.

Perfume Mixology class has been one of the best classes by far. That I’ve already booked another class to make another perfume. The teacher was so patient. I even stuffed my formula. I was so anxious the teacher wasn’t annoyed or anything she helped me to make a new one. The shop is so beautiful. Very warm and cozy. The instructions and the different stages and accords you need in the perfume. I felt so special to make my own perfume. Naming my perfume myself. 100% recommended this class.

My sister and I attended a perfume-making class, and we had an incredible time. It was both enjoyable and informative, allowing us to learn a great deal while crafting our own unique perfumes. Our teacher was really friendly and welcoming. The studio is beautiful and was well stocked with heaps of different scents. After a quick run down on what makes a perfume we were given heaps of time to just explore and experiment. We got heaps of help/recommendations. Such a relaxing morning, I will definitely go back again.

ELKE was amazing through and through - from booking and to the actual class she was patient, friendly and nice. She assisted us in finding and mixing the right scent.
We would have been lost without her super nose - smelling and providing the best advise and mix to our perfume.
Also, you can't say a class isn't amazing when brownies, hot chocs and tea were served.
All in all - it was an amazing day and we enjoyed it thoroughly ( definitely loving our scent too! )

We went as a group of 9 people. They were so accommodating. Greated us as soon as we walked in the door. Bubbles on arrival and brownies which was devine
We didn't feel rushed or pushed at any point in the night. It was such a fun and chilled environment. We had lots of laughs and the staff were beautiful.
Would definitely do it again. We all can't wait to collect our candles and burn them!

Unique and fun experience. Gifted for my mum, was an original activity to do together. Teacher was friendly, informed and super helpful. Venue was beautifully decorated and smelled amazing! Naturally! Airy and bright. Toilets clean. We joined 4 other women at a table each with our own work stations. Everything provided that we needed. Prosecco, soft drinks and hot drinks available, even homebaked treats! Had about 50+ scents to smell and choose from to mix. Learned the science of candle mixology, how to look after the candle and made our own high quality candle. Good value as the candle itself at 250g is $30 to buy from the store. So chuffed. Would recommend. Ill definitely try the perfume mixology class!

Not only is this venue aesthetically pleasing to the eye Red Rosie is such an inviting atmosphere. The smell of all the wonderful fragrances is Devine. Our teacher was so knowledgeable whilst being easy to understand & took her time to explain all aspects of soy candle making.
