What you'll do
Take your vocals and performance skills to the next level with Amanda Rae Kelly and gain the confidence to truly shine!
Each individual is unique, therefore each class will be designed in a way to foster, nurture, cultivate, and celebrate your own intrinsic voice. You will be guided through a solid technical and performance grounding.
What you'll learn:
- Breathing technique
- Utilising the diaphragm
- Resonance structures
- Vocal mechanics
- Melodic strength exercises
- Explore performance, composition, and improvisation
During the class, you will gain a working knowledge transferable through vocal health, professional technique, confidence, and presentation and also cultural dynamics. We will work together to enrich, enliven, and empower your natural vocal instrument.
You will have the opportunity to record your vocal selections and will also be invited to perform throughout the year as a way to progress performance skills while allowing for expression, sharing, and connection.

Your teacher
I have extensive experience teaching performing arts (primarily vocal and music tuition), having been in the field for 20 years. Students have included pre-school, primary, secondary children and adults and my roles have encompassed: Private Vocal Lessons, Creative and Performing Arts Program Development, Leading, Team Management, Facilitating, Evaluation, Choral Arrangement and Conducting, Performance Preparation and Direction, as well as Professional Development Teacher Workshops.
I also continue to work professionally as a vocalist/composer/musician/artist through performance, recording, film and visual mediums and have completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance Major) and a Graduate Diploma in Expressive Therapies.
My work ethic is founded on values that transpire through engaging, fostering and nurturing an individual’s creative expression and imagination, sparking an authentic manifestation of enthusiasm, interest, joy and fun! Additionally, my extensive experience and training allows students to develop a well-established and diverse technical grounding.
I consider everyone's voice to be their own innate instrument and through developing means of expression each voice is empowered to shine. I very much look forward to working with you!
