What you'll do
The ancient art of hand weaving is such a wonderful way to wind down and relax, take time out of your everyday life and do something for yourself.
In this half day weaving workshop in Perth, you’ll learn the super simple steps to create your own woven wall hanging from scratch, using any colours you choose.
This is my ‘freestyle’ class where anything goes colour and design-wise. If you’d prefer to follow something more prescriptive, check out my other listings for ‘Beach or Ocean Themed Weaving Workshop’ and ‘Nature Landscape Weaving Workshop’.
Learn something new, play with yarns, colour and texture and have fun with friends (or maybe even meet some new ones).
And don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before - I’ll be guiding and assisting you every step of the way!

Knowledge required
This weaving class is for total beginners, so there is no need to have any experience or be ‘artistic’ in any way.
What you'll get
- Use of a wooden loom and weaving tools.
- A variety of lovely yarns and fabrics.
- Your patient, experienced teacher!
- One glass of wine (you can BYO after that).
- Light grazing platter.
What to bring
There is nothing to bring, just yourself (and maybe a friend). You can BYO additional beverages if you wish.
