I am an artist/author and I create and publish wellbeing resources for kids and adults using my love of art and positive psychology.
I love facilitating private groups for "Paint & Sip" classes for adults, or "Paint & Singalong" parties for children at my Bayview Boathouse Art Studio or as a pop up at venues to suit.
It brings me the greatest of joy to see most people as beginners leaving proud and enlightened to how joyful, therapeutic and satisfying painting can be!
My classes can be catered for any special occasion, Team building activities, Xmas Parties, Corporate events, friendship groups, family outings, Aged care, fundraisers, hens nights, birthdays, parent/child groups, mothers groups, teacher wellbeing activities or date nights.
I also do Kids Creative Workshops using Arts & Crafts to teach children important values such as Gratitude, Kindness and a Positive mindset which helps children to live a happier life!
The rest of the time you'll find me painting large canvases for Art Galleries of all things beautiful; boats, holiday scenery & any special moments captured on film. Commissioned art of loved ones, special memories and places are also welcome.
If I had time I would paint everything beautiful that I see! :-)

Kylie ran the perfect team building event for our group of 40. We had a fantastic setting overlooking the water and Kylie took us through each step to create our works of art. The team had so much fun and were very impressed with their results. Kylie was very attentive leading up to the event and on the day, to ensure every detail had been considered and the team could relax and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend Kylie to run a corporate event in future.

I had the pleasure of hosting Kylie Johnson Art Studios at our retirement villages, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Everyone in attendance had a fantastic time during her paint courses. Kylie's passion for art shone through in her teaching, and her talent as an artist was evident in every stroke.
Working with Kylie was a breeze; she was easy to collaborate with and always had a warm and friendly demeanor. Her communication skills were top-notch, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the sessions.

Kylie hosted a corporate event for us and it could not have gone better! Although most of us claimed to be terrible at painting, Kylie is a talented, kind and patient teacher who helped all of us find our inner creativity and paint a beautiful picture. She brought a great energy and set the mood with an upbeat music playlist, and thoughtfully customized a painting for us to suit our requests. I would highly recommend Kylie for future Paint & Sip events, and we are already planning to get her back for another fabulous night. Thank you Kylie!

I had Kylie come to my home for a collective bonding/ creativity session with my golf colleagues. Kylie is an inspiring, knowledgeable and fun teacher. We not only had a great time but everyone produced an artwork that they were proud of. Kylie bought all the materials we needed. I couldn’t recommend this activity enough. We’re planning to do another session later in the year.

Highly recommend. Was such a fun team building activity to celebrate the end of a very busy year. Kylie is AMAZING! Such a wonderful, kind and caring facilitator too! She explains everything so clearly and is happy to help you with your masterpiece. Those with no painting experience will be surprised at your ability after attending one of these sessions - guaranteed! (and that's speaking from experience mind you!)

Kids and their parents loved it! We invited Kylie to our place for 11 classmates to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday party. This class is the main theme in addition to other free play at home. Kids immediately looked forward to the class when they started to see Kylie’s setup. I never thought they were able to enjoying sitting there and doing art, which is why luckily I found Kylie’s singalong style at least suits kids if some can’t sit and do art, but I know most will enjoy singing and great songs prepared by Kylie. All kids enjoyed the experience and feel so good about what they can achieve at the end! Kids played wildly during some breaks but as soon as they were in Kylie’s painting, just like magic, they were so good at focusing on painting, which is a relief for me so that I could freely do other things. Kylie is super good, just trust she’s so experienced organising kids and sure she knows so well what kids like, so she also prepared 1-2 other activities kids enjoyed, which pass on uplifting messages to them at the same time. Absolutely recommend it if you are looking for group kids activities!

My daughter loved her paint and sing class and can’t wait to return All the children left Kylie’s class glowing and joyful. The incorporation of mindfulness for children is fantastic too and my daughter equally loved this part of Kylie’s class. Will definitely be returning soon

It's the little Blessing that bring joy and you brought it!
Celebrating abundance and blessings at Easter, Norwest Marketown in collaboration with Kylie Johnson hosted the little ones to create personalised gifts at our dedicated Children Positive Mindfulness Workshops. Kids were encouraged to draw, paint or write, whatever takes their imagination in sharing the holiday joy with family and friends. Fun activities include - thoughtful arts and crafts like rock painting with kindness messages, colouring in gratitude pages from guest host Kylie Johnson’s colouring book. There was also an opportunity to write a gratitude letter or fill out a gratitude exercise sheet. Each bright and happy session ran for 30-40 minutes.
Parents provided positive feedback around how educational and unique the session was in teaching kids the importance of gratitude.

Had an awesome birthday celebration with some of my dearest friend while we “sipped and painted” with Kylie. I have done several different experiences and this one is by far the best. I had a wonderful time doing Paint'n'Sip at Bayview. The location is absolutely magical and parking was easy nearby. We were able to bring our own snacks which was great too.
I am not a painter by any means, but Kylie guided us through the process and by the end I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I would definitely do it again, and I'll be sure to recommend it to friends. Looking at all her different art on the walls, so much inspiration, there would be something for everybody.
Everything was supplied, the paints and brushes were fantastic, the paint just glided on. I thought it was great value for money.

Loved this course, it was totally worth the money & there's so many great ideas & projects to do with a new module sent every week for the duration of the course, really looked forward to seeing what there was to do next. It is more for families with younger kids but anyone could do it. Best part is being able to do it all in your own time. Would highly recommend especially if you have littlies.

We did this paint and sip class as our work Xmas party. It was such a beautiful venue overlooking Pittwater to Scotland Island. Kylie the artist was very friendly and helpful. She had a great music playlist, which made a fun atmosphere. Our whole team enjoyed the night, and would highly recommend this class to anyone. It was also very reasonably priced and get yo take home a piece of you own artwork. Thanks Kylie.

Loved this experience! Such a beautiful venue and Kylie is warm and professional, all in one. Highly recommend this to anyone who seeks a fun, enlightening and enriching experience - no prior painting experience required, but you’ll be very surprised by what you come up with - if you give yourself half a chance!

Oh what a great experience. Not only was Kylie really lovely and a great teacher, the whole venue and vibe are amazing. Honestly couldn’t have picked a nicer venue for a birthday. We sat in the studio and enjoyed the class and wine, with direct access to water views.

Upon arriving at the studio we were welcomed by the lovely Kylie, Zia, the gorgeous studio pup and blown away by the spectacular Bayview water view.
As we settled in with our bubbles, we started discussing with Kylie the construct of the painting and the next 3 hours just flowed. The music in the studio never stopped nor did the chatter, laughter and cuddles from Zia.
Kylie provided us a few options and we ended up combining a couple of her artwork into one. She was wonderful in listening to our suggestions and we improvised to personalise the artwork. We mixed and created new colours and she was ever so accommodating with our ideas as well as having absolutely all the tools there for us ready when we need them.
Kylie also has a super positive and energetic personality. My girlfriend and I felt that we had a well-being reawakening after spending the morning with Kylie and is already planning family activities next with Kylie.
Not to worry if you’re not particularly artistic, Kylie can cater for the needs of the different experiences! Just sign up and be prepared to enjoy!

Kylie was an amazing addition to my daughter’s 8th birthday party. She went above and beyond all my expectations. She ran a class for 12 children ranging in ages from 5-12 with complete ease. She's organised, helpful, punctual and obviously loves what she does.

We had a beautiful Mother’s Day session spent painting in Kylie’s beautiful, vibrant and welcoming seaside studio. Kylie is a truly wonderful and gentle teacher with a passion for teaching and creating. All the mum’s and grandma’s went home being awed and inspired by their creations.
