Welcome to Kids Paint & Singalong Art Classes with artist Kylie Johnson art, a fun and uplifting creative experience where kids can relax, paint and sing along to their favourite tunes.
Held at the beautiful Bayview Boathouse Art Studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, these classes give children a safe, supportive space to unwind, express themselves and build confidence through art.
With music playing in the background, Kylie guides the kids step-by-step through a canvas painting while encouraging their own creativity and ideas. Children love the relaxed studio atmosphere where they can explore their artistic talents while enjoying a fun singalong playlist.
Depending on the session, kids may also enjoy additional creative activities such as:
  • rock painting or craft activities
  • affirmation card activities
At the end of each class, every child takes home their own completed canvas artwork to proudly display.
These classes are perfect for:
  • After-school term classes running for six weeks. Enquire with Kylie.
  • School holiday creative workshops - usually running for 2 hours
  • Kids looking for a fun weekly creative outlet - requests welcome for times that suit during holidays or terms.
The studio environment is calm, welcoming and full of creativity and our adorable toy cavoodle studio puppy is always ready for cuddles and play time during breaks!
Spaces are limited so early bookings are recommended. Private class group requests are welcomed at a time that suits over the holidays, birthdays or as a school term with times to suit school finish times.
Private Kids Birthday Paint Parties are available as a mobile pop up class all over Sydney at your home, venue or Kylies Bayview Boathouse Studio!

Note: Adults are welcome to book into this class together or inquire for private friendship, mother/child groups at a time that suits. Groups with a minimum of six and a maximum of 14 students are welcome. This is truly a beautiful bonding experience for all!

Hi, I’m Kylie - an artist, author and wellbeing educator who believes creativity is for everyone.
Through my Paint & Sip classes for adults and Paint & Singalong and Creative Workshops for children, I create welcoming, relaxed art experiences for groups across Sydney and the Northern Beaches. Classes are hosted at my Bayview Boathouse Art Studio for intimate groups, or delivered as mobile pop-up events for larger gatherings at venues to suit.
I cater for small private groups from 6 people right through to large events of up to 100 guests, making my classes ideal for birthdays, hens nights, corporate team building, fundraiser events, Christmas parties, wellbeing workshops and family celebrations.
Most people arrive believing they “can’t paint” and watching them leave proud, relaxed and surprised by what they’ve created is the greatest joy of my work. Painting has a beautiful way of quietening the mind, building confidence and creating meaningful moments of connection.
Alongside my classes, I create and publish wellbeing books, card decks and mindset resources for children and adults, blending art with positive psychology. These resources are often used by families, teachers and therapists to support calm, connection and positive daily rituals.
I also run Kids Creative Workshops, using art and craft to gently teach values such as gratitude, kindness and a positive mindset helping children develop emotional awareness and resilience through creativity.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me painting large canvases for galleries, inspired by boats, coastal scenes and life’s beautiful moments. I also love creating commissioned artworks that capture special people, places and memories.
I’ve been painting and publishing wellbeing resources for over 15 years, and hold a Working With Children Check (WWC1145596E) and a Mindful Educator Essentials Certificate from Mindful Schools USA.
If I had the time, I’d paint everything beautiful I see and I love helping others discover that same joy through art.
