Q: What to wear?
Comfortable clothes and shoes are best. Kids activities can sometimes be a bit messy. Party outfits are welcome, just make sure they can take a bit of creativity!
Q: Minimum and Maximum Numbers of Participants?
Minimum numbers for a party to run are 4 guests. We have comfortable seating for a maximum of 12 guests.
Q: Self Catering?
Garden of Wire is happy for you to self cater. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle, microwave, sink and small fridge. However it is not suitable for preparation of food.
Q: Parent supervision requirements?
To make sure all the kids are safe and the party runs smoothly, we ask that at least one parent or guardian stays onsite for the duration of the session. This is especially helpful if you’re providing food or drinks. For our younger guests (ages 5–8), having a parent or nominated adult nearby to assist with bathroom breaks is important, as I need to keep an eye on the rest of the group. I’ll lead all the creative fun and ensure everyone is engaged, your presence just helps everything flow safely and smoothly. I have a valid Working With Children Check and Police Check.
Q: Can siblings join in?
Yes they can but they will need to be counted in the overall guest numbers.
Q: Booking & Cancellation Policy?
To secure your party date a $150 deposit is required. If you need to cancel up to 3 days before the party, no fee is charged. For cancellations within 3 days of the party, we’re unfortunately unable to provide a refund as we’ve already prepared materials and planned the session. We appreciate your understanding — this ensures every party runs smoothly and every child has a fun, fully-prepared experience.
Q: What ages is this class suitable for?
A: Adults & 6+ years. Adult accompaniment is not required.

We’re located at the eastern end of Oberon Street. If arriving from Sydney we are at the start of the main retail area of the street. If arriving from Bathurst, we are at the very end of the main retail area.

I started this creative journey as I wanted a calmer way of working — one that gave me space to create, to redefine how I worked, who I worked for and to build something that truly felt worth my time and energy. My first step was a market stall selling my wire art pieces, inspired by the workshops I had attended myself. As people began asking if I ran workshops and I continued to enjoy attending craft sessions, meeting like-minded people, creating, learning, and connecting, Garden of Wire Creative Workshops was born.Along the way, I discovered the simple magic of connection: how sitting together with wire, natural elements, beads and quirky craft materials can spark conversation, laughter and a sense of belonging. That’s the heart of my workshops.I offer whimsical wire art and creative craft classes that are gentle, welcoming, and fun. They’re not about competition or perfection — just about enjoying the process, taking a little time for yourself, and connecting with others in a relaxed, supportive, inclusive space.No experience is needed — just an open mind and a positive attitude.
