Looking for unique cultural experiences in Petrie? Join us for this fun and relaxing class taught by Stephen Tolley of the Wiradjuri people.
This class comes with a pre-printed canvas and a stencilled image and is taught by Stephen Tolley. Stephen belongs to the Wiradjuri tribe. He has lots of interesting family history to share with you in the class.
Stephen will guide you in how to use a stencil to get your basic outline and how to fill the shape.
Due to time constraints involving drying paint, you will be supplied with a prepared canvas, but we will still take you through all the steps.
Stephen will then show you how to use a range of dotting tools to create different effects.
You will be supplied with additional paint and a set of dotting tools to finish your art at home. If you wish to continue at the studio, classes will be offered at a reduced rate on request.
Note: family connections (black and white) is free form.
