Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a splash of paint on. Watercolours are generally gentle, but aprons can be made available upon request.

The studio is located through the shop space and is flat to enter. If you have accessibility needs, feel free to message ahead so I can support you.

Arriving 5–10 minutes early is ideal so you can settle in before we begin. Set-up and materials will be ready for you.

Sketch Your Wreath Outline
With simple guidance and visual examples, you’ll create a loose pencil sketch to map out your wreath shape. No need for perfection, just a soft framework to support the painting process.
Lay Down the First Wash of Colour
Start adding your first layers of paint, allowing soft washes to bloom across the page. This stage is all about slowing down, tuning into the breath, and enjoying how the colours begin to take form.
Build the Wreath with Details

Hi, I’m Brittany, the artist, teacher and creative behind Cosy Art Club. I’ve always been drawn to making and creating, and after studying visual art and community arts at Uni, I spent the last five years teaching Prep to Year 12 across Brisbane.My love for mindful watercolour and slow drawing has grown into a gentle creative practice that I now love sharing with others. I’m passionate about creating warm, cosy workshop experiences where anyone, beginners included, can slow down, explore colour, and reconnect with their creativity.Alongside painting, I sew sustainably, upcycle furniture, and have run community art workshops both in Brisbane and rural Queensland. I hope to inspire you to explore your creative rhythm and make art that feels grounding and joyful.
