Join talented plant based chef and author Katie White in Byron Bay as she guides you to make delicious plant-based recipes that are packed full with flavor! Each participant will receive a copy of her nationally published book, The Seasonal Vegan, from which we will work from through the class. Depending on the season at the time, we will make recipes from the seasonal chapters of the book, helping you know exactly what produce to enjoy at that particular time of the year.
This class will give you new and exciting ways to cook incredible home made vegan meals that will satisfy everyone in the family and surprise and impress your guests! You will learn about the best and most delicious ways to replace dairy products, eggs and proteins. We will also touch on balancing meals in a healthy way, and completing them on a culinary level too.
We will cover delicious lunches and satisfying dinners, as well as luxurious desserts including how to bake vegan cakes, and how to make vegan versions of classics such as custard and béchamel. We'll also touch on plant based nutrition and lifestyle tips too!
Suitable for anyone interested in eating more plants, including flexitarians, vegetarians, plant based, or vegans and at any stage of your culinary journey.
By the end of the class, you will leave loaded with inspiration for delicious vegan recipes, new skills and resources to carry into your own homes and use for years to come. Plus, you'll have a nice full belly from the meal we will share together, too.
There is a minimum of 4 people for this course.
