- 5/5 from Nancy, attended Oct 2026: We loved this informative and down-to-earth calligraphy workshop with Alison Curtis! With clear explanations and instructions, Alison had us practising our calligraphy in no time. We felt so welcomed and nurtured, from the cup of tea to the beautiful touch of having our names written in calligraphy on our booklets and take-home paper bag. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making the whole experience feel extra special. Besides learning something new, we enjoyed the calming surroundings and felt the workshop was a real treat. We would definitely sign up for future workshops and would love to see a soft brush calligraphy workshop offered in Montville. Thank you, Alison, for such a lovely experience!
- 5/5 from Judy Pathe, attended Oct 2026: A fantastic introduction to calligraphy and so well thought out. Alison is a gifted and natural teacher who explains everything clearly and offers great encouragement. The class was beautifully set up and lots of unexpected inclusions which made the whole thing so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone and don't worry if you don't think you will be any good as you will make progress and want to keep practicing.
