  • 5/5 from Amanda Williams, attended Oct 2026: Sarah has an amazing knowledge on silversmithing. I had a great time learning from her. The class was the perfect size. It was a held in a great space. I made 2 pendants for necklaces. She had a lot of ideas of what was available to make. She's very hands on and spends time with you showing you what to do. At all times I felt safe using all of the equipment. I am so grateful she flew in from Melbourne to Far North Queensland to share her knowledge. Can't wait for the next one!
  • 5/5 from Sandra Keogh, attended Oct 2026: Sarah was lovely, flexible and patient in taking everyone through their piece step by step. I'm excited to do another workshop.
  • 5/5 from Tarnisha Artuso, attended Oct 2026: It was my first time making jewellry of this kind, and Sarah was an incredible teacher. She made silversmithing accessible, and easy. The techniques she taught were easy to follow along, and she was a very patient teacher. You leave with a piece that looks professionally done, but by your own hands. The small classes mean that Sarah can pay particular attention to each attendant. Overall an awesome experience.

Sarah Munnings was working in the corporate world of finance and when she was struck down by a devastating mystery illness. Tests, more tests, and months of trips to doctors led to the diagnoses of Fibromyalgia (a chronic pain condition). This led to Sarah to rediscover her creativity as her own personal form of rehabilitation and become a self-taught jeweller who developed a table top jewellery practice in her kitchen.
She now teaches others the amazing creations that can be made using copper, silver and brass. She uses traditional techniques of forging, soldering and texturing metal, and is passionate about using tools that are easily accessible so that her guests at workshops can continue their journey of discovery at home.
