  • 5/5 from Pete, attended Aug 2026: The stained‑glass workshop turned out to be a brilliant creative escape. I learned how to shape, and solder glass into small flowers. The teacher was patient, funny, and clearly passionate, which made the whole studio feel relaxed and welcoming. I loved watching my design come to life piece by piece — seeing the colours glow under the light was the best part. If you want a hands‑on, calming, and surprisingly satisfying experience, this one was cool.
  • 5/5 from Anna Kinnear, attended Jul 2026: Loved it. Fun, relaxing and good to use your hands to create. Looking forward to the full day course and inventing my own creations!!
  • 5/5 from Laura Wilkin, attended Jul 2026: 3 of us really enjoyed this course last weekend. Paul was very welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about creating beautiful glass art pieces. As it’s a short course, he’d already cut the glass sections ready for us, though we had plenty of choice for colours and patterns. He took us through step by step from there - carefully taping & soldering the pieces, then polishing and finishing, making 2 beautiful flowers on stems each. All equipment was well set up and the small class size meant it was easy to watch demonstrations and kept it lovely and relaxed. Love the flowers we made & will look out for more courses Paul runs in future.

Hello, My Partner Sheree and I are the Owners of Luminous By Nature. We both found a passion for the art of Stained Glass some time ago, starting out with minimal tools and small market appearances to a full and busy studio from out of Our garage, selling retail products, making windows and conducting workshops on the art, here in Queensland and interstate throughout New South Wales. We are self taught and focus mainly on copper foiling, the Tiffany Method but also create pieces with the traditional leadlighting method as well.
We have invested in Our workshops in such a way that We are mobile and can conduct workshops anywhere that people may want one and have the appropriate space to do so.
We quite often are asked to create commission pieces, attend special market events and art exhibitions to conduct workshops. We have attended festivals as well.
Sheree and I are passionate about the luminosity of the glass We use, vintage and new styles, and Our business name derives from this aspect as well as what We believe to be the true human state of Being.
