The Creative Garden Cloche Workshop

Create a whimsical rustic garden cloche, a beautiful blend of sculpture, creativity and cottage garden charm

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests       $50 (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Step into a world of rustic charm and creative play with the newest addition to our wire workshops: the Creative Garden Cloche. In this hands-on class, you’ll transform wire netting, natural elements, and small wire embellishments into your own sculptural garden cloche, whimsical, practical, and completely unique to you. Perfect for adding character to your garden beds, pots, verandas, or indoor spaces.
Inspired by old-world cottage gardens and found-object art, these cloches can be left beautifully simple or embellished with curls, weaving, natural elements, and decorative details to suit your own style. Use them to protect plants, display treasured garden pieces, support climbing plants, or simply as a striking piece of rustic garden art.
No experience needed! This relaxed and welcoming workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone craving a mindful, creative escape. You’ll be guided step-by-step through shaping, constructing, and embellishing your cloche using a mix of repurposed and natural materials. Each piece develops its own personality as you work, making no two creations alike.
What you’ll enjoy:
  • Working with recycled wire and a variety of natural elements
  • Learning sculptural wire-shaping techniques
  • Creating and embellishing your own unique garden cloche
  • Plenty of guidance, inspiration, and creative freedom along the way
By the end of the session, you’ll head home with one or two beautifully handcrafted garden cloches, a rustic statement piece that reflects your creativity, individuality, and love of handmade art.
Complimentary tea, coffee, and water are provided during the workshop. You’re also very welcome to BYO wine, drinks, and nibbles if you’d like to make it a relaxed, creative outing with friends.

Accessibility?
Garden of Wire Creative Workshop is located in one of Oberon's old buildings and has some accessibility limitations. The entry is via two low wide steps. The toilet is located outside via two steps, a narrow side pathway and is a "typical" Australian brick outhouse with limited space and narrow door. We understand this is not ideal but will assist with steadying hands if required.

I started this creative journey as I wanted a calmer way of working — one that gave me space to create, to redefine how I worked, who I worked for and to build something that truly felt worth my time and energy.
My first step was a market stall selling my wire art pieces, inspired by the workshops I had attended myself. As people began asking if I ran workshops and I continued to enjoy attending craft sessions, meeting like-minded people, creating, learning, and connecting, Garden of Wire Creative Workshops was born.
Along the way, I discovered the simple magic of connection: how sitting together with wire, natural elements, beads and quirky craft materials can spark conversation, laughter and a sense of belonging. That’s the heart of my workshops.
I offer whimsical wire art and creative craft classes that are gentle, welcoming, and fun. They’re not about competition or perfection — just about enjoying the process, taking a little time for yourself, and connecting with others in a relaxed, supportive, inclusive space.
No experience is needed — just an open mind and a positive attitude. My hope is that you leave not only with something handmade and uniquely yours, but also with a sense of calm, connection and the reminder that creativity is for everyone.
Garden of Wire Creative Workshops can host Birthdays, Hens nights, Date Nights, Christmas parties, Team Building and other private events.
