This 10 week pottery course is designed for absolute beginners with no prior experience. Over 10 hours of hands-on instruction, you will learn both hand building and wheel throwing techniques to create a variety of functional and decorative ceramic pieces.
What you will make:
  • Ceramic letter paper
  • Candle jar (for your own handmade candle)/ceramic bowl/ceramic cup
  • Ceramic little house
  • Ceramic jellycat-style figure
  • Matcha set (matcha bowl + whisk rest)
Course highlights:
  • Lesson 1–6: Hand-building, wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing
  • Lesson 7–8: Colouring and surface decoration
  • Lesson 9: Candle making workshop – pair with your ceramic jar
  • Lesson 10: Matcha workshop – whisk matcha in your own handmade bowl
Each session is 1 hour, with step-by-step guidance in a small, supportive setting. By the end of the course, you will take home 8–10 finished pieces, ready to use, gift, or keep as your first ceramic collection.
No experience? No worries. Just bring your hands and curiosity.

All pieces you make during the course can be taken home – the little house, letter paper, candle jar, and everything else.
